I don't know about Zapper C or Zapper Q but the Zapper Y absolutely sucks when it comes to grip. Its just about ok when it comes to tarmac, but any other condition like wet road, bit of gravel, hard braking, etc... and you'll know what I'm talking about. Fishtails really well on hard braking...Originally posted by whizzkid_ram View Post

rev "power" limit of FI.....
off late i noticed that after changing the injection unit of my bike (silver one) the power band is available to 10100-10200 after that thr's no pulling and the bike revs unnecessarily...
earlier with the old injector unit (black one) it used to show the "pull" till 11200...
anyone experiencin the same???
and whats ue "power limit" with the old black injector???The Magician"

Where did you get it and for how much?Originally posted by bikerboysyd View PostBy the way.... got the MOTUL chain clean and lube and used it.... awesome results...must give it a try..Removes all the grime and dust particles from the chain....
Now the chain is shiny again....
Is it a spray? How do you apply it to the chain?

The Chain Lube for Rs 480/- and Chain clean for Rs 430. total Rs 930/- from DSG, PuneOriginally posted by jayesh.khushalani View Posthow much did you shed out for it??
Well , firstly , as the RTR has naked chain , my chain had got dirty with all dust , mud , grime particles. Also as the svc had oiled it in 2nd free service...So it attracted a lot of mud due to rains....Originally posted by Hyperion View PostWhere did you get it and for how much?

So Just spray the MOTUL Chain Clean on the chain evenly , And wait for 15 Mins. Then i took an old toothbrush , and brushed the chain lightly . Then , using a cloth I cleaned the chain . There itself the chain became shiny and , all the mud / grime had fallen off the chain , and original grey color of the chain could be seen.
Then after, Spray the MOTUL chain lube evenly . And wait for another 15 mins. Its Done !! Then Take the bike for a spin
I didnt notice any performance difference , but yes , you do feel great when you see the chain shining
and free from mud..

Problem:
Carbon deposition in the spark plug, low fuel efficiency (35 kmpl)
Parts replaced under warranty:
1. Head
2. Valves
3. Cam (lob+ shaft+ bearings)
4. Carburetor
5. CDI
6. Spark Plug
7. Spark Plug Cap
8. Timing Chain Tensioner.
Result:
Not solved yet, same carbon deposition, but it becomes dry from wet now.
Further Testing:
May be the whole engine
Verdict:
Service provided by TVS is very fast, and they really took care of the complain, but unable to solve the problem, poor diagnosis.

Quite expected!! Its a 55W. Am using it... The reflector is handling it till now. The battery charging will be a bit slow and it will affect the horn, speedo etc. Other than its fine.Originally posted by Puneet1 View PostAnyone here using a 55 watt bulb on RTR ??? , I tried one but headlight is getting quite hotter than stock . will the reflector handle the heat ??Democracy is when 2 wolves and a sheep meet to decide who is for dinner. Mera bike completed 35,000 kms today! This is after 20months and 10days after its purchase! (the day before today my HH CBR 100RR completed 1,00,000kms
)
Pssst.....Odo meter shows only 20,000kms
its time for service as well but i guess it will be delayed by a good 20-30days, thats 1000-1500kms
