    Its not the clutch that you think. Its the oneway clutch. Its related to the starter motor!

    1. Throttle cable
    2. Both hand grips
    3. Bar end weights
    4. T plate cover
    5. Headlight unit
    6. Valve Springs
    7. One way clutch
    8. Side stand
    9. Coneset (may be)
    10. Chain sprocket set (may be)
    11. Fork Oil
    12. Disk Oil
    13. Oil filter and oil drain cover's


    Thats all i remember for now. i've asked them to check the rear mag alligement and the rear tyre for woobling issue.

      For what, dude!! 45k routine service or are u facing issues related to those replacements!!

      • nahi.....its routine servcie.......most of these were pending issue's which i kept postponing.

        BTW....RTR has done only 39k.

        Throttle cable has become very hard, even oiling did'nt work out. bar end weights have lost their paint. grips have become hard. Chain makes wierd noises at times. Fork seems to be tight but gives out the "khatak" sound when i go thru a pothole. Oil leakge from both oil filter cover and from the oil drain nut. Valve spring's replacement are a result of a small experiment I have'nt replaced the fork oil and the disk oil till now

        • My brother noticed that the left front fork was leaking oil... checked from RAMKAY and they say that the oil seal is gone. Its a 10-month old vehicle with 10K on the ODO... Am wondering why so soon? Has the Leh trip really taken its toll? First the cone set and now this... Damn.

              yep....may be. Mine is still doing fine @ 39k kms! so it has to be the Leh ride!

                    it happens with TVS, when i bought my FIERO, after two months and 560kms it's right fork seal was gone!!!!!!

                          Currently I am using YAMALUBE 20w40 SG grade mineral oil for my 16K+ RTR 160. I must say that the oil is very good. Already tried the followings:

                          Motul 300 4T(20W40) = Good
                          Elf Moto 4 Gold(20W40) = Very Good
                          Gulf Pride 4T(20W40) = Very Good
                          Castrol Power 1(15W40) = Worst, give up at only 500 km, Clutch, Gear all rough. May be I got one fake.
                          ELF Sporty (20W50) =
                          TVS TRUE 4(20W40) = OK kind of.
                          Motul 5100(15W50)= Initial 500 km was rough, then it works in full action, all smooth, but after 1200km Clutch slips heavily and gear misses.
                          YAMALUBE SG (20W40) = Very good, super for City, yet to test at highway, with full throttle.

                          I know after so many tests only god can help us to judge the right oil for RTR.

                            Am in the same dilemma too. Somehow i feel comfortable only with tvs oil. Am yet to try motul 300 V W40.

                                Interesting.@kauria:How Do You Compare Gulf Pride 4T plus(20W40) vs Elf Moto 4 Gold (20W40) vs TVS TRU4(20W40) I am contemplating to go for Gulf Oil for My RTR180 on 2nd service.Is it Helps in Overheating Engine?
