Thats Not called one way Clutch then. Its Sprag clutch- A type of clutch used for unidirectional power transmission.Last edited by nox2505; 11-14-2009, 03:23 PM.There's lot to it other than saddle....

Tyre query for Apache
Hey guys..i am planning to change my rear tyre..these are my options:
1)MRF Zapper Q-100/90-18 TT
Good VFM..good grip..decent looks..easily available at all MRF outlets.
2)Michelin M45- 4.00x18 TT (translates to 101.6/101.6-18)
very good grip, good looks, a little pricey(Rs1800 in michelin dealerships) and much costlier outside.Don't know how much this tyre will affect handling because of the 101.6mm sidewall height(the stock tyre is only 80mm).
am already using a MRF meteor 110/90-18 and the 99mm sidewall height did affect my handling especially in heavy traffic.
3)Pirelli Sports Demon-110/90-18 TL
soft compound, excellent grip and looks, bad wet traction, wears off very fast, very costly in the grey market(Rs.2400 quoted).
I want guys who are using these tyres on their Apache RTR's to give their first hand opinions..Thanks in advance!!....

nope. They just modified the needle clip/clamp as the older ones break most often
3. Throttle- Short play throttle.
I dont think show. May be a free moving throttle with less resistance
4. Chain kit-44/13 sprocketing, as on RTR180,.
Nope just some slight mods in the "O" rings to improve its life
5. Pilot lamps- Hope so they ill be LED and DC circuited,
Pilot lamp holder changed to push type from the screw type
10. Rear suspensions- monoshock(cant expect, No place to put it in existing frame.) Thay might be Golden like RTR180.
A big No
. Just so improvement in the quality of the paint in red one's. seems they have received lot of complaints of fading
may be oneway clutch is a lay man's term!Originally posted by nox2505 View PostThats Not called one way Clutch then. Its Sprag clutch- A type of clutch used for unidirectional power transmission.
My RTR is running on a 110-80 vee rubber for almost 2.5k kms now. Though its excellent in grip and cornor, its has robbed a lot in term of acceleration. I miss the fun i used to have before!Originally posted by apacherenator View PostHey guys..i am planning to change my rear tyre..these are my options:
