please clear one doubt I have....

When turning the mixture screw clockwise, does that increase or decrease the petrol flow into the engine?

Please clear this one to me....
Tightening/ clockwise rotation leans the mixture and anticlockwise richens.
There's lot to it other than saddle....

        • can do stunts with fi or not?

hi friends yesterday me and our team members go for practice stunts and we do hard for a long time and come to rest for 10 min in that time i switch off the bike and again switch on the key their i notice a stranger behaviour of the fuel pump the basic action of the fuel pump is selfprimes for moment when the key or the kill switch is on.but yesterday the pump selfprimes for a long period about 20-30 seconds after that i start the bike and blip the throttle the engine runs like some air locked and after some hard raise of the throttle its normal and the fuel in tank and the tank body is totaly in over heat.after we finished the practice and i ride back to home and i check the action of the pump it is very normal
and the fuel tank is not much heat.so my doubt is fi bikes are used for stunts or not.and an another scare is the fuel which is over heat in the tank if its blast the tank??if it happends i too dead? pls i am in total prob(scare) every one help me

@renny:hi reny i brough a motocross helmet last week in chennai see the pic and it is my the initial safty gear..cost Rs;1280

black smoke indicates burning of oil aong with the air/fuel mixture, your piston rings are fried, and it's more likely that the person who did the job 4K back has not done it properly.
what is the reason for white smoke?

good to see that new helmet you bought (good brand, full faced), i'll insist you to buy a good jacket, gloves, boots and pants cuz you're into stunting

white smoke also indicates the fried piston ring.

some mechanics teach me if piston rings fried means white smoke lets out and the valve oil seal fried means the black smoke comes. but u telling both white and black smoke for pistion rings pls clear me

sure to buy some stunting gears soon but i searching for low price.renny u remember that u point out my avatar one day that has no helmet now i am going to change that and i am going to up load some of our practice season pic later

i dont know which culprit seal gives what colour smoke but if one of the two is fried, it'll belt out the visible smoke from the exhaust...
                      go get both checked.

when you switch on your bike the pump puts fuel in the injector, it works for long (the buzzing sound you hear for a longer period of time is a result of that and is not "selfperform") because there was no pressure in side the tank, but when you park your bike after riding it and then go, it has to work less cuz there is already a pressure inside the tank,(engine already running) so the variations you here in the BUZZING sound is cuz of that.

                          • 10k completed

                            hey guys!!

My FI completed 10000km in 10 months and I swear I enjoyed every ride till now The only concern I had was the stalling engine till the second service.

PS: Looking back, 5 services already done to my jan and 6th coming soon... I guess I'm caring too much (Off the road only ) May be that's why I didn't have many concerns!!
