If you still have the reserve key, then why don'y you go for a duplicate key?

Ya, i know am lucky, but at the same time unlucky too. They are terribly short staffed now and he has to triple up as Supervisor, floor in-charge and working on bikes and HQ complaint bikes as well. That leaves him very little time to work on my bike now a days. he is under tremendous pressure and thats getting his quality in work to low levels. I make sure i leave the bike with him as long as he wants so that he can work on it peacefully. Even after doing so, the last 2 services have not been satisfying.

Frankly, other than him and another 2 mech, rest are all fit for nothing!

Change it only if you want to be sure of your safety of your bike. Else simply get a blank key from the SVC and get the duplicate done!

it was 950rs approx when i changed it couple of months back. Will include headlock cum ignition, petrol tank lid, and battery side panel lock.

This is called servicing. It took almost 35mins to complete their job. and they insisted me to stay there to observe their work. They did everything. Thumbs up TVS.
Bajaj HH yamaha should learn servicing from TVS about servicing.
TVS SC here had many spare parts too. Their supply was much sufficient. I am a proud owner of TVS now .
