    Hi guys,

    I want to know the on road price( Bangalore ), mileage of :
    1. Apache RTR 160 Hyperedge
    2. Apache RTR 160 FI

    I couldn't find it on their site. Please Help

      Depends on you. You will get 45+kmpl in Hyperedge. and FI is still in production? If yes it is capable of giving 55kmpl upon your ride.

        RTR HE 160 with rear disc brake --> 75k/- on road. But that was on december'2010. After that the rates have been increased for all models. You can expect nearby 80k/-
        RT FI 160 --> production is closed
        Millege --> In city Im getting 45kmpl if maintained in 60km/hr speed. For 70km/hr Im getting 40kmpl
        In highway I have even got 69kmpl but that was during run in period where you will have to maintain within 4k rpm(around 55km/hour)

          In India TVS has stopped FI production. I dont know in Bangladesh. BTW the millege is normaly 50kmpl (no matter however you throttle) in city conditions.

          I am also getting 42kmpl. If you can maintain 40-60kmph and less use of clutch all the time you will get 58+kmpl in hyperedge. I myself got 53kmpl in highway condition.

          No bro, there is only one FI bike in Bangladesh legally. Yamaha R15. No other FI is available here.

            What do u mean legally here? Is it like special permission is required from government to launch FI bikes and only Yamaha has got it there?

              No. IN bangladesh, to get a bike over 150cc or FI bikes you will have to illegally import them from another country.

                    Hey guys recently I ripped the bike to the full extend and all I could achieve was 116km/hr in straight line. As per the specification the top speed is 120km/hr. When I ripped I had just finished my two services. Any idea what might have gone wrong. I haven't changed the tuning settings. Its all in factory settings. I have seen people specifying 120+km/hr. Maybe they too can give some valuable suggestions. Also I'm using TVS oil.

                        Hyperedge Digital Speedo is much more accurate than the previous ones.
                        I got 129kmph with Castrol Activ 20W40. Don't know about TVS OIL.
                        Try to start at 7K RPM in 1st gear. and then red line 9.5K RPM in every gear, you should be hitting 125+kmph.

                              You have option for FFE [ Free Flow Exhaust ]. It can be done at many local mechanical workshops.

                                Free flow exhaust. Does it affect the bike performance (read as mileage ) in anyway? Also what is the cost?
