More than 200ml:sly: leakage is from front head(below the raditr)Originally posted by Praful View PostHow much extra oil have you put ? if its 100-150 ml, then no problem.
Put a picture of the leak.
Don't expect any miracles, Like I said before the 220 Fi is an out of production bike nobody really wants to work on it now.

The oil leakage from the engine, i get it fixed from a mechanic and afterwards replaced my engine oil (motul 5100). As 220 needs 1.2 ltr engine oil i pour more than 1200 ml of engine oil bymistakenly.
Now the leakage from head is again happening.
Please help
Should i again go to mechanic and open its head?

I have never heard of this error ever!!
How many kms has your bike clocked? Its recommended to change the clutch cable every once in a while, I usually replace mine at 20-25K.
You (and I) own a out of production bike, I don't think you'd get the same kind you service you got 4 years back. Accept this and move on, find a local mech close to where you live who knows bikes inside out and keep the bike in proper shape. For tuning you need to still go to PBK though.

they only have one resolution which is SIR CONVERT IT TO CARB YOU WILL HAVE NO ISSUES nobody knows the root cause of this issue. please guide me what needs to be done.
Hey @Praful I finally got my bike from the BASS Kasturaba Road and seriously it was nothing but Pain in wrong place,
Too start off Mr.Janardhan the Mechanic who serviced my bike and I told him to change the Chain sprocket and Cone set,
I have no clue why the clutch cable(121.00) was replaced, when questioned said sir it was going bad,
There is a Capacitor for KS (47Rs)
Coupling Rubber(P)(171.01rs)
GASKET (Drain PLUG)(1.75rs)
KIT CHAIN SPROCKET(1289rs)
CONE KIT (354.00)
LEVER BOOT(12.50rs)
SPEED SENSOR(225.00rs)
Labor -800rs
Self was working when when to pick up they said sir battery also should be replaced as its not starting i told him till date had no issues with it at all but now all of sudden then took to local shop and got it replaced with Amaron costing 1550INR
So Pathetic service they provided I would be raising a complaint against them by sending an email to Bajaj Head quarters hopefully they improve there service.
@Praful please can you contact the closed service station or the place you get it serviced check with them what this Error indicates.
P.S. He got a KTM tech and showed him the Diag error now he recommends to change the entire electrical of the bike please help and suggest me a good mechanic i spent 4.500Rs and not satisfied with the service that was provided to me with Bajaj.

Re: Pulsar 220 DTS-Fi
Is it not possible to switch to a better fuel injection system like duke's to get rid of all this problems ? New Fi systems adjust themselve automatically and does not need any tool to tune the AFR. I have the 220 Fi too and in these 4 years I solved every problem myself on this motorcycle as there is no Fi mechanic in the town.Originally posted by arhaan khan1 View Post

The diagnostic tool on its own cannot say if the throttle body is damaged. How many kms have you done on your bike ?
For me personally, no point in converting to Carb or in selling Fi and buying Carb.
The three Bajaj SVC centers mentioned in my previous post will do the Carb conversion if you want.
I am not sure about this bro ill go tomorrow to pick my bike ill ask him what was the diagnostic results .
