    Nope! Never gonna sell it.
Precisely why I'm never converting to carb

Definitely not a pump issue (or so I hope ).
It could be old battery or insufficient current being generated.

i remember something similar on the Duke 200. Turned out to be that the stator coil went bust, not enough current to charge the battery and it drained finally, leaving the bike dead in the middle of Spiti. It happened because the battery was being used consumed more thanks to the repeated cranking in the cold. It was probably on its last leg, when it gave up the ghost completely. An inherent problem in the first batch of the Duke 200 apparently.

Also congrats on keeping her going strong. Lots of love you have.

I remember Dipankar having a similar problem, maybe you can ask him.

PS - All you Fi guys have problems with your pump as old age creeps in

    Any Fi owners still alive?

I find this strange behavior with my fuel pump. I can hear the pump whirring when the lights are off, but the sound of the pump reduces the moment I turn off the lights.

Obviously, this is an electrical/load issue. Just wanted to check if anyone had this earlier and resolved this.

Its a long time to come back to XBHP for a problem with my p220fi which still doing good on its original state.

My p220 fi now almost 6yrs old.

The cost of ECU is Around Rs.1650/- in Kolkata.

Do any one have any idea what is exact throttle body screw position. One Bajaj SVC guy messed it up with out knowing about it.

In Kolkata no more PBK centre and KTM SVC guys refuse to tell anything about it.

So please help me to set the throttle body screw in its original position. As I need to set the idle throttle properly.

    Re: Overhauling my P220

Bike is slowly munching to 50k kms .
Silencer has started producing metallic sound and is on due for replacement .
A few more months left before bidding good bye to the bike.
Waiting & waiting for Pulsar 400 .And if it gets delayed will be changing silencer & push on the sweet 220

Any pointers as to what should I ask the service center to check ?

Edit: Front tyre - between the Ceat Zoom and MRF Zapper - any thoughts on which would perform better off-road.
may be the problem is you are used to your dukes handling.......btw using the duke for office even though your mrs use cab for the same place..helmets off to you man
