  • hi folks,

    in between...

I also had an accident sometime back now me and my bike have recovered...

but there is an intrinsic problem that it deviates to the right side under hard breaking or when I ride hands-off ... that means its balance from the chassis is little disturbed... maybe some jerk while the crash got transmitted to the chassis which is disturbing the balance as of now.

do you know how and where to get it fixed... as this is not the thing which is under curable norms of any local mechanic.. I need some one specializing the art and the one who doesn't charge me insanely...
    guys I live in Delhi,

by the way do think such an intrinsic thing is curable or I have only one option left to buy a new chassis.
    thanks.

    • Try white colour, I feel it would look good. White with black stickers of Bajaj and 200.

Well, I think that the probiking people should be able to help you out with that or at least pinpoint the exact cause of the problem to you. But the thing is, they might or might not charge you insanely. As long as you've got insurance, I suggest you give them a try first. See what they say, and then try out any other options that you've got on hand.

        @EL LOCO DIABLO
If you're going to get some of the parts done at the Bajaj showroom in Chennai, then I suggest that you ask for one named Mr.Kumaresan. He's fairly tall (read: gigantic), and easy to find there - considering you ask the people who he is.
He was the one who helped me out with my own bike and got it done for me quickly. I say quickly here because a friend of mine had to wait a long time before he got a problem of a similar nature sorted out.

        Swiggy Mayhem!
We're trying to start an initiative where we're gathering enough photos or videos
of erratic Swiggy/Zomato/UberEats riders across all cities so we can cast a spotlight
on this issue and try and sort it out. If you video-record as you ride, or have a
dash-cam in your car, or can take SAFELY photographs of instances where these riders
are creating a nuisance by riding recklessly on the roads, PLEASE share the same with
us on the thread above. Appreciate it!

          • @ronak: thats a speculative question which is sure to start brand war. What do u mean by beat? In acceleration? Top speed? If u ask me, IMO, stock 200 cannot beat a ZMA or R15 in top speed. Acceleration, well I don't know. Cheers!

Yeah i know Mr. Kumaresan he's actually in charge of all accident cases, he is something like a "paper-pusher" (meaning he does our papers) for us i suppose, for the insurance cases but anyway i'm keeping the insurance card for the very end, and use it when i have no option left, incidentally i had also gone to PBK today to buy some parts, they said the handlebars were out of stock for atleast a week! but i got the left shroud and disc brake pads, the shroud costed about Rs. 231.46 and the brake pads Rs. 137.20 but the grouse is the VAT they charged me Rs. 46.08! bringing the bill from 368.66 to 415.00! and here is the price list for all the parts that i need changing on my bike

                  Part Price
                  Handlebar Rs. 297/-
                  Front fender Rs. 465/-
                  Headlamp Assy. Rs. 660/-
                  Speed Assy. Rs. 2525/-
                  Exhaust Rs. 7128/-

Bringing the total to about Rs. 11,075/- and i've have'nt added the tank yet, but i have no intention of changing the exhaust anytime soon, and the PBK guy (Mr. Lakshmanan) told me that it is better if i apply for insurance for the tank than going for any mending/repair
I'm too intelligent to the unintended, and too dumb for the obvious.

Very true. It's better to apply for insurance for any of the metal parts that you want to change. I think your insurance is covered by Bajaj Allianz. Well, they cover 95% cost for metal parts. Only 50% cost for the plastics.
If you apply for the insurance for the entire thing, then I think insurance should pay up around 9000 for the amount (roughly estimated, give or take) and the rest you can pay.

Obviously the rider makes a hell of alot difference. But if its the same rider riding the bike, then a 200 cannot beat a ZMA or a R15 or a 220 in top speed .

You yourself have said that the R15 smokes P220, ZMA and P200. So don't contradict yourself.

As far your post about the "facing" the "real" rider, it's obvious you like racing. Well, answer to your reply is that I don't "face" riders, I ride along with them.
