No there is no downside but there is no upside either it will sound different than stock. Marginal to none effect on power.

Iridium and G power power plugs extends plugs usable life. So instead of 10 to 12 K interval you change them at 25 to 30K. Iridium cost ~500+ and G-power is ~250. Power delivery not so much affected.

Here you have quite a few options, You could try semi synthetic or synthetic blend oil which will might have positive effect on your riding experience.
Try Honda throttle 10w30 or Shell Adv Ax7 10w40. With synthetic oil you will find the motor marginally rev happy and consequently marginal drop in fuel economy.

Unfortunately you can't extract more power from a aging motor but you can try your best to keep it stock and in best working condition. that's your best bet.

Tubeless are always preferred over tt, and they are cheaper too as the price of tube not applicable. Go for Zapper YM (80x100/17), Which is recommended and cost somewhere 1200 to 1400. https://www.mrftyresandservice.com/t...7-tl-zapper-ym

Go tubeless only, I recently changed to Michelin City Pro Tyre • Front 2.75-17 and • Rear 80/100-17. The grip is better than stock MRF tyre. Stock tyre lasted 27K for me still had the juice to run 4-5K kms but they developed cracks (7 years old) so I changed them.Front cost ₹1400/- with fitting and GST paid bill • Rear cost ₹1500/- with fitting and GST paid bill.
Note: Writing this after driving 1000Kms with new tyres.

Regarding your ride, its minor issues. Start with changing front oil seal of the suspension and fluid in both leg.

                Battery EXIDE - ETZ4 (FXL0-XLTZ4).
                No idea about other accessories.

Replaced front tyre to MRF ZFS 70/100-17 from factory fitted tvs which lasted 4 and half year and 37K km. Cost 1000 inr.

Please check MRF website for Tyre prices and don't overpay. The price on their website is including of GST and levies.

The factory fitted TVS Tyres have some of the poorest grips I've faced from Honda. Previous Twister owner here. Currently having a Splendor Pro. I had changed my Twister Tyres from TVS to Apollo. Those have even more solid grip. The Apollo F1 makes a great front tyre. Grips the roads like a hand digging or clawing it's way into the road when you bike is at a halt.
