check the wire end that goes in to spark plug cap...there could be carbon formed inside the wire end that connects to spark plug cap. otherwise replace the spark plug cap with new one.how old is spark? Do tell us when problem gets solved.Originally posted by rohancyberdude View PostI have a serious problem with my twister these days, whenever I start in morning (cold) the bike starts in one self but when i give gas the engine stops with a blast

Great to see such a happening ownership forum. While browsing ownership thread, noticed one thing on speedometer of Twister, recommended gear at different speeds are marked in it. So I guess, in one way it can be used as good alternative to RPM meter. are these markings useful ?
Took test drive of twister and dream yuga last weekend, dream yuga FELT to be more smooth....somebody else has same thoughts ??

Nice to see this, dint except this much parts will be under the air cleaner. I'm also have to open the chamber to inspect, my driving is always on toooo dusty truck road.Originally posted by sachin1111 View Posttoday i opened the Air chamber.....for inspection. noticed just 1-2 drops oil collected near the entrance of crankcase breather tube. other then this there was a very thin layer of carbon around the wall of air chamber....these are probably the fumes generated inside engine when engine oil becomes hot during high speed runs.with no filter and metal filter net in place...i tried to operated the kick lever and noticed it hardly required any force to operate the kicker.
check attached pics showing Twister's air chamber.

BUllshit i know they are having it. they refuse to give it to customer. i my self can change the cable. they want to charge bullshit like labour charge. they want to give my bike to them to change that cable.
Where can i buy honda parts in chennai.
Rajaselvam tell me. i dont want to buy anything from honda showroom. me and local mechanic helpless.
Friend first of all why you went to showroom funny of you. For a speedo cable go to a local spare parts shop and ask unicorn cable it's perfect fit & costs 85rs only. Bcz it's very hard to find twister spares. In my friend bike he's using Uni cable only.Originally posted by fybercyber View PostRAJASELVAM
DO YOU KNOW ANYSHOP WHERE EVER IT MAY BE IN CHENNAI THAT SELLS ORIGINAL HONDA SPARE PARTS. AFTER LONG SEARCH IN INTERNET I FOUND OUT TWO SHOPS AURORA AUTO AGENCIES IN Royapetai, mahaveeer auto agencies in cindadaripet... anyone bought any spare parts from this shops.
If u want geniue spare go to a honda spare parts dealer shop. Which is in wall-tax road, in between Chennai central station & elephant gate police station.

those markings indicate speed limit for each gear....if we go past that speed limit for given gear, then it can harm engine. Its an indication of maximum engine RPM we may rev the engine....but we do not know how much that maximum RPM is.....ie 6000 RPM or 7000 RPM etc.so its not an alternative to RPM meter.Originally posted by MoonLight View PostGreat to see such a happening ownership forum. If its shaking only when front brakes are applied....then something is wrong with braking mechanism. First check the free play of front brake lever...it must be 10-20mm.it can be adjusted. there could be issues with brake cable at connection points at front wheel. there can also be a problem of brake shoe wear....although chances of this happening is very less since bike is only 4k old...but can happen if it had been wrongly set. can you post a pic of front wheel on Left hand side? I am posting a pic of mine....just post a similar close up pic(area marked with red square) of your front wheel. but before clicking the pic tell someone to hold the brake lever tight. when you hold the brake lever a pointer (with small arrow mark on brake arm moves indicating how much brake shoe wear has taken place)Originally posted by shubhakv View Post---------------------------------------------
