cheating at petrol pumps...must read this!!
beware!! a new hi-tech method of cheating at petrol pumps has been uncovered by Punjab police. a microchip fitted in circuit board controls how much petrol should flow and it completely fools the electronic display board that shows quantity discharged. whats more the cheating method can be turned ON or OFF by petrol pump attendant using a remote control if they feel you are suspecting them. many petrol pumps in Punjab, UP and now in mumbai are using this method...and its spreading across the country. This news with all details is being currently aired on INDIA TV news channel.......watch it.

Well, there could be possbility that all of them are well satisfied with their bikesOriginally posted by sachin1111 View Postno idea dude about veterans.....hope they are still using twister and i wish and request all new members like you will help in keeping this thread alive.
!!! Just an observation, I could see an increasing number of new Twisters/ Honda Shine on road recently in Delhi. I guess all marketing done for Honda Dream Yuga is increasing foot fall in Honda Showrooms here.

Hero splendor and passion will continue to grow. Courtesy their time tested 100cc engine and quite aggresive finance schemes. Saw advertisement recently of Hero group offering interest rate of around 9 % and down payment of only 9000rs and one can take any bike of theirsOriginally posted by sachin1111 View Postyes i guess they are satisfied owners..and we have answered and discussed most of the questions about Twister on this forum.

and yes, this thread is like bible to me for my Twister. Today got engine oil changed, ODO reading is 200 KMs. I bought Honda 10W30 1 Ltr for rs.270 with bill from honda workshop. Got it changed from local mechanic.
Till now very happy with bike, quite smooth engine and no gear slippages.Last edited by MoonLight; 03-04-2013, 01:31 AM.

Nowadays peoples are likes only quality products not bothering about costs, If peoples are bothering about money the Harley Davidson mayn't came to india.
You can buy genuine Honda oil in local oil shop itself. Why are you going for this alone to work shop. I think you are changed oil early after 500kms only first oil change, but Changing oil frequently is also good for the engine.
I hope the first batch of twisters only having the gear slip issue.

There is no guarantee that oil I pick from local shops would be genuine as there are lot of fakes in market morever all of them have castrol, shell etc. I am just trying to pamper my Twister ( havent named it yet, any suggestions guys ???? ) . I had planned to change oil @ 100 KM but didnt got time for same.
I hope the first batch of twisters only having the gear slip issue.
Gear changes are very smooth and yes Honda !!!!

Hello fellow twisterers,I am new to this thread & this is my first post.Firstly I want to thank you all for the great work u r doing in this website!!I beleive u would be helping me too.. My bike is 2 & a half month old & has done about 1400kms.1)I am satisfied with the overall performance but at the same time a bit depressed too due to some bugs and the most common among them is the gear shift problem. It never goes the desired way.I find it hard to shift as if there's some kind of friction.Finding neutral is also troublesome. At times never shift to 1st gear and also when braked suddenly shifting becomes impossible for some moment. 2)Next mess is idling. The engine starts with just one kick or button press without the choke but soon cuts out with a coughing sound. But when I start riding,it won't stop.3)The disc brake makes a squeaky sound even at lower speeds.4)I would also like to know about chain maintenance & tightening, oiling of gears, battery maintenance, wheel alignment, spark plug, air filter & anything else.I am a novice in bike maintenance & mechanism. So brothers, please help me.I will be really grateful. Thanks in advance.Awaiting response.Last edited by smartrider; 03-04-2013, 09:22 PM.
