    Hi Guys I am Planing To Buy Avenger 220 next week !!!

    I Do have Some Questions ???

    Q1. Avenger Average for 220 ?? I drive the Bike at average speed of 40 to 60.. (atleast 40 is ohk with me)

    Q2. I heard a lot about bike skid on applying brakes ?? Is that a issue...

    Q3. Avenger Engine Maintainace ???

    Q4. Open Chain Maintainace ??

      Maintenance with bajaj ????got to meet your mechanic quite often but cheaper spares will not dig your pocket too much;What is your height?Skidding happens when you brake while cornering in a lean angle

          Pulsar 220 digital meter on Avenger 220 ???

          I was wondering ---
          Since the engine for both the Pulsar 220 and the avenger 220 is the same - will it be possible to fit the pulsar tacho/speedometer on the avenger -

          Can anyone help me out with this ???

            I was looking at ways to modify the avenger 220 to a bobber and wanted to know - is it possible to fix the pulsar 220 exhaust on the avenger 220 ?

            Any other suggestions would be great.

                    Sore butts on long ride.

                    Hello guys,

                    I had some doubts after reading to numerious reviews for the new Avg 220. They say that the seating arrangment on Avg make your butt numb on long rides thanks to the kicked-out foot pegs. Is that true? Since Avg is made for crusing. I never experienced this since the bike on which I took a ride was for very short distance. Any one of you ever experiecned this?

                      I've read a detailed review myself.
                      The bike is very comfortable on highways, you need not worry.

                      But, take it to bad roads, such as the ones you will see in the Konkan strip, and the Avenger just fails!
                      The reason is the seating posture. Whenever there are bad potholes, you can't stand up on your foot pegs and let the bike take it. The bumps get transferred straight to your back.

                      But so long as the highways are good, the avenger should not have any problems.

                        i own a avenger 200cc...and apart from a few issues here and there, the bike is a charm...maintainence is important thought, just like any other motorcycle, but it is a true blue cruiser...i bought it after reading the reviews on this thread.now im planning on making some performance modifications, maybe cosmetic too...any suggestions would be lovely!and i wanna race with it...so therfore the performance issue!

                              Wow , that was some serious thought about modification of Avenger . I own one (avenger 200) for past 2 years and feel it require no modification what so ever. It feel perfect for the price tag it got. Just take care of crome parts and keep the bike shiny, and its still a head turner. Now lets see if I can answer your question :
                              1. I see no reason why you should not be able to do it but the Pulsar's plastic acho/speedometer will take the look away from the avenger, and one should remember, its cruiser, not a race bike
                              2. i doubt that as the height of the P220 exhaust is way to high and will be just to high for pillion to sit (chances of burning Bums or thighs are very much their).

                              Try something with colors and or filter, that should be more then enough. My bike is 2 years old and check its shine in my album

                                hey guys,

                                i am posting on behalf of my friend who is not here at xbhp
                                he owns a bajaj avenger 200. he is actually a hardcore tourer
                                and the issue he is facing is puncures because of those tube tires.
                                he want it to make it tubeless
                                but because of those spokes he is not able to get it transformed to
                                tubeless...
                                can you guys suggest something good for it ??
                                and other thing if alloys are the only option
                                is there any set of alloys that are compatible for
                                avenger apart from aftermarket ??
