Just wanted to ask some questions, since you too own a new Avenger.
How are the NVH levels on the bike? I somehow find the gearbox and engine creating lots of noises when pushed a bit.
Like in 2nd gear if you try 20+ the NVH will increase considerably, same goes for 3rd gear at 30 and 4th for 40-45. In 5th gear it feels good but it also gets high nvh after 60kmph.
I have clocked 170km in 3-4 days and wondering how soon I should go for an engine oil change.?
Switch to motul engine oil n try. People swear by motul on any Bajaj bike

      Hi, Thanks
To give you a little background, i owned and used KB 4S Champ for 20 years. Just sold it last month. This bike is a huge upgrade from 4S Champ. I have not used or ridden any other bike.
I bought this on Sunday and parked it and could not ride on Sunday due to Diwali arrangements. Monday i had office, so again no time to ride.
Today morning after my regular cycling, i rode for 8 KM. There was some knocking, maybe due to cold engine, but the same went away after 2-3 KM.
I am on leave from tomorrow, so hopefully will be able to add more miles to the bike. Right now, the reading is 25 KM only.

Regarding oil change, the dealer advised me to get the same changed at 1st service which happens at 500 KMs

I do get that knocking quite often, particularly in lower (2/3rs) gears. Not sure what's causing it. It happens in first few minutes of bike start.

Rakesh, do try reaching the bike 50+ in 5th gear for shirt like duration and report the NVH levels.
I hope any old Avenger owner can shed some light on Noise, Vibration and Harshness levels.

Question to people who have been using avenger for some time, say around 5000-10000 kms , how is the suspension front and rear. question is from from comfort perspective. has it been almost same all along or has bottomed out.

          Thanks,
          Deepak

No change it is the same I have done like 5500 km and I am very happy with the bike. Touch wood till now only regular service has been carried out on this bike. Other than that I have just got the meter change as it got spoilt and was changed under warranty. Rest assure the bike is great and loving it every day I ride and now the most important thing has also come is the tubeless tyres.

See as far as the pillion seat of avanger is concerned it pains after a while but but if you can manage to make it a bit cousioning as I have made it by adding some foam to make yourself and the passenger comfortable then nothing like it. Well people have traveled more than 300 km on avanger with pillion of course and with no pain. At this price I believe that it is the best vehicle out there. Go ahead even I was not sure for this seed but today I can say that I have made the best choice and have a tension free bike with me. Very smooth and very good I think I am in love with this bike. Everyday when I take it out for a ride in the evening I feel so relaxed I just want to hit the highway with it.
Seriously friends what do you all believe while ridding your bike.

Is there any benefit of using Center Lock on this Bike? Also is it compatible in the first place.
I am looking for some tough to break anti theft mechanism that is possible in the bike. Any advice on that?

can anyone tell the sprocket , number of teeth both front & rear , mounting bolts on rear wheel for new or old model avenger ?
its written on the sprocket itself.

If you want to secure your bike from theft or something for this you can install the disk lock which is available on amazon and ebay too or else you can also place the lock on the shockers which is also available in the market also for the theft of petrol the lock is also available there too.. you can also go in for some remote locking devices which can be put up too in the market.

there are alot of safety features available out there but for all this the right mechanic should be there who can really care for your bike and set them on the bike without disturbing the warranty as well as no cutting of the wires.

Co-Incidentally, one of my friend also bought the same bike, same color same day lol and we both found out after we posted pics haha xD
lovely snaps well please post the picture of your tyre where it is written tubeless if at all it has aone as the new bike is having the tubeless tyres. i tried seeing the company online of mrf nylon but could not get.

i have also asked my asc for the part number so that I can purchase the tyre either from the market or else from the asc itself.
but first need to see the tyre picture.

                            I have a query.
Till now I was using M6 RTD led 35w headlight in my Bajaj Avenger 220(old model). But it's time to upgrade, so I installed Phillips X treme vision 55/60 bulb. But it seems that the illumination is not that good . What should I do?

1- changing the connection wire of bulb? (as it has some cuts due to previous Led Fitting)

2 - adding relay to light wiring

                            3- trying 30/35

                            Which is a proper solution?

What does your mechanic say on this.
Honestly 55/60 of Philips is good bulb no doubts about that. As for the adding of the relay is a good idea but if your wires are cut because of your old mods. Well I guess this could do something good for your phone or else you can even try getting your hands on the hid unit. Or even the new bulb which is comming in street or the whole assembly would be a better option if it fits. Ask the acs if these lights can be fit. If yes then nothing like it.
I am really happy and satisfied with my lights of my seed.
