The gear shift shouldn't be hard like u said. Please check the engine oil level, and if its on or beyond the max level then that could be the issue to ur problem. Sometimes the mechanics doesn't drain the engine oil properly and fill the new oil thus, the excess oil. When the engine heats up, the oil expands and when there is excess oil expanding inside the engine, the engine could stress easily and so the gear shifts.

My Black Pearl(a recent pic of my Avenger Street 220, pic attached...have done slight modifications) is close to 7months old with close to 9200kms on the ODO.
I am planning for a 1k+ KMs ride.
Wanted to know if I should get the servicing done before I commence the journey or after ending.

Also, would be great if somebody can list the tools/spares I need to carry for emergency purpose.

Thanks for the help on advance
Get it service before and then after just to be safe for the big ride. Also for the tools first and formost carry 2 pairs of tube just in case. Chain lube cleaner if you can wash it. Medi.. kit just ride safe bro waiting for snaps and logs... good luck have fun.

why there is no separate thread for New Avenger 220..??
Why R15/Pulsar have 3 different thread.
Moderators can you explain it ??

All avanger are one except 2 r 220cc and 1 is a 150cc but they all are same.
But a good question even avanger 150 should have a different thread.

I maybe buying one pre diwali. I will post updates if I find it.
I just came to my home town to get my learner's license.
Apparently, I have made it clear to the dealer in Delhi that I will only buy if I get tubeless tyres.
He did indicate that the pricing may rise so that's the catch.
When are you planning to buy? If it's anywhere around next 10-15 days then maybe wait.... Let's have a chit chat in this regards.

My payment is ready. They just need to show me the tubeless version before i buy it. The dealers in Noida are not aware about this launch. Same is the case with few dealers whom i called up in Delhi.

Well what I know so far from my people the company has not launched yet any tubeless tyre in avanger model yet. But you don't know what they have in stored for us. As for getting in the market I have tried with every company even delhi could not get 130/90 15 set with any manufacturer in india. They say we don't make tubeless for this tyre even finding a tube tyre is so difficult what to say.

Ps: if any dealer says the he is giving a tubeless tyre please make sure it should be written on the tyre too... as a case happened which I remember with a friend of mine he bought his bike went to the tyre shop got his tube removed and made the tyre like tubeless. But in real life when a needle pearsed his tyre that made him crash very badly. So please friend's don't try this. Also if there is a tubeless tyre out there please inform.

Did he say if the price was increased for tubeless?
I am delaying the purchase for some reasons, but if there is any possibility of price hike, I will buy immediately.

I did not ask him about the price as the model that i am interested in "220" was not available with tubeless tyres. But then having checked the details on bajaj website, the tyre size for the street 150 and 220 are the same. So, if they have been able to send the 150 Street with tubeless to the dealer, i think the 220 launch with tubeless should also be round the corner.

I think both models are available in tubeless but it's all about having the stock. The one I asked seems very aggressive about me buying it early so maybe he did say that he can arrange 220 tubeless without any extra money. But he indicated that if I delay much, I might end up paying extra. I don't know whether to believe him and make an early purchase or to wait and get the permanent license because if which I am delaying my purchase.

Sounds a little strange, dealers taking pre-order of tubeless even before company any say on those (not talking about official release of tubeless versions but company's undisclosure about release date) Wait for it, maybe they hike the price but at least it will be official nationwide.

TBH, my impatience level is already reaching its new heights! [emoji14] I am only somehow able to contain it.
On a serious note, how much difference in price are we looking at across the tube vs tubeless ?
I am also wondering if it makes sense to check with multiple dealers ( does the price vary for same model. ?).
I was quoted 1,01,xxx for Avy 220 Street ORP Delhi.
