Re: Bajaj Avenger - All versions
Hi Guys, This is Sathish from Bangalore, I have bought Avenger 150 street recently. ODO clocked over 2,500 kms and first service is done.
I am using CBR 250 for my long rides, Avenger is going to replace Hero Impulse which I have sold recently due to Spares parts availability issue but it was very fun to ride Impulse.
Now I am using Avenger 150 for my office commute which is around 80kms two way daily. I have noticed that, after 40 kms ride continuously tappet noise is increasing always so valve clearance need to be done I believe. Please tell me any good Bajaj ASC in Bangalore. This is my first Bajaj bike and I have bought it in my hometown which is in Tamilnadu.

My one cent- If you are not sure about tappet valve noise, check both the spark plug connection as some people face this issue due to spark plug.
Hope you solve your problem soon.Phoenix Came, Saw and Conquer My Heart, Forever...

Re: Bajaj Avenger - All versions
Do anyone have idea about how to clean avenger air filter. Should it be washed by kerosene or just blowing air through it is enough. I know p220 air filter is to be washed by kerosene but avenger has a different looking air filter. That's why this confusion. Please reply asap as it is kind of urgent. Thank you.Phoenix Came, Saw and Conquer My Heart, Forever...

Re: Bajaj Avenger - All versions
Guys, one strange problem I have faced today. I was on highway and doing triple digit and suddenly I closed the throttle. Then again while I gave the throttle the bike didn't respond instantly. It was jerked like coughing for 2-3 times and then it started responding. The jerk was like when fuel is about to go to reserve and the fuel cock is in "On" position. It happened everytime i did step by step the following.
Totally opened the throttle-totally closed the throttle- and then reopen the throttle. This happens for the first time.
If you guys have any idea about this response lag of accelerator then please help. Thank you.Last edited by AbhiAvvy13; 07-02-2016, 12:24 AM.Phoenix Came, Saw and Conquer My Heart, Forever...

Regarding drain nut, it is probably size of 17 and best tool to open it is box wrench.Phoenix Came, Saw and Conquer My Heart, Forever...
