Can anyone also suggest if we could add a windshield on 150 street and a back support , does it look good on 150 street?

Sure you can add windshield of 220 cruise but it ruins the STREET look

If you can find this type ones, it won't look that bad. But the normal ones are not going to suite street.

                Hi,

I just got an avenger street 150, can anyone please let me know what's the minimum amount of petrol needed to fire up the fuel indicator on tank?

Above the reserve capacity, fuel meter should show, i.e. above 3.5 litre.

There is not indicator on the tank apart from the fuel display. The 3.5 ltrs is in reserve which will just bring your needle to the red portion. See I get 10 ltrs filled and the needle goes up. But last time I just filled in 5 ltrs the needle was exactly at the middle.

This is one of the flaws in bajaj avenger. Fuel gauge is so small in size that it is not accurate at all the levels. If it is in reserve (i.e. @ 3.5 Ltrs as all mentioned), the needle still sits at 'E'. If you put on side stand with same amount of petrol, the needle moves a bit within red. I agree with AbhiAvvy13, the actual movement of needle happens when it is above reserve capacity.

Above all I use the method from day one with all my past purchase of bajaj bikes from pulsar 180,220,180,and now avanger 150 reserve to reserve. I don't trust the gauge at all.
Just the way enfield people use it. It's just that I see the fuel meter just to see when the bike is coming to reserve section. Towards the empty side. As I like to get the tank fill in the morning time only.

Dear all, I finally got my 1st bike, Avenger 220 street a week ago and so far i am enjoying the ride and it feels great.! Cost me around 1.15 lakhs on road (Nagaland). I have just done 180km in my odo, and so far so good, I have speed up to 70kmph, and no vibration at all, but i won't go beyond that untill i complete 1000km as per the manual says. I am a new rider and sometimes i feel difficult in shifting gear to 1st when m at neutral during traffic signal stop. It takes me about twice to push down the gear to 1st and sometimes thrice. I just wanted to ask whether its normal for the others riders too.? And by the way shifting from 2nd to the next gear and so on is very light and easy and i love it. Here's a picture.

Yes, it is quite normal during run-in. Just tell the ASC during first service, they'll lube it well. Some metal needs to chip off to become the ultra smooth machine, that's what run-in is all about.

Please confirm that this is not the same problem where in riders will have to move the bike an inch or two back or forth to set the chain right. In that case, it is better the bike is set into neutral (clutch released) before coming to a stop.
I meditate as I ride to find a place to sit and meditate.

Thank you for the advice. Today i noticed that whenever i move my bike a little back and forth i can shift from neutral to 1st gear without any difficulty when i face the issue of shifting gears.
