Have you tried to open cover and check it carefully ? I can see oil drop exactly on side stand joint, it may not coming from chain sprocket, it look like coming from other parts inside cover, not to increase your worry but advice you to open side cover with gear shift sticker and check if not already done. BTW your bike need a full wash too

Yes checked and verified. Yeah it needs a wash I know but I don't get it clean normally as I feel there are some places where water gets stored and start creating problems. But I will after some time maybe after raininy season is over. More over the bike will be parked for sometime as I am going abroad. Shall be helping my brothers out there with all the past history I have on 2 wheelers. All the best and thanks.

Are the spares for Avenger Cruise available now.. I am looking for its handlebars from last couple of months to retrofit on my 2012 Avenger 220. Unable to find it.. Can someome confirm about this and price??

- just checked with Bajaj mechanis about battery diffrence between 4AH and 9AH, he said "just power differnce"

- Absence of kick starter just doesnt matter unless you ignore to maintain the battery.
Have you seen kick starters in any of the cars? 😆
Bike Jerk start is much easier even if the battery dies and you will never get stranded for this reason.

- Headlamp is good when compared to many indian bikes. You dont have to worry about it. Light throw is powerful.
Yeah, if you compare it with RE 350's light throw its slightly less.

- Ignition switch feels great and is just not messy. Yeah, handle lock wil take a bit of practise.

- Spoke to the mechanic about fixing Avy Cruise handle bar to the Avy Street and he said " It can be fixed but cables also wil have to be changed as the cruisen handles are sliglty lengthier." And he went on to say " Cruise back rests can be fixed directly to the street and it costs around 1.5k"

Can I use motul 7100 20w50 on my bike. After a change from moto 4 gold 20w50 where in moto I change the engine oil every 2000 km the charges for this engine oil is 300 rs.
What is the price of motul can anyone share with me. Also the recommend note to use this engine oil for 4000 km of 1 year. Odo on my seed is 1700 km in 5 months. Going slow don't want to rush. On it. Just using is very seldomely like 5 km a day. Work load has made me go off road.

Never accept oil leakage friend, it is not common, my avy 150 started leaking oil near gear shift knob in engine, got it checked and service center guys found that oil was leaking from natural gear sensor in output shaft cover, get it fixed and maintain proper oil level. I strongly advice to get your gear shift problem fixed or you will endup with bad and noisy gear box.

Little advice from personal experience, in avenger many people complaints about rear shock absorber and very bumpy ride for pillion, remedy is maintain tyre pressure of 23 psi front and 26 psi rear, it will not affect economy and enjoy butter smooth ride and best grip on road, I love the sound come from rear tyre on highway . Just changed oil to mogul 5100 15w50, improved gear shifting and smoother engine.

I think I am also facing this problem shared the snap too. But when I got it checked it is not from there rather it was comming from the chain side. I will share some snaps tom then you decide. Also can you share some snaps if you have. Gear knob means from where. I am unable to understand this.

Thanks for inputs, my second servicing is due now, i will highlight the oil leakage issue to Bajaj service center as well. Lets see what they can do.
