Re: Bajaj Avenger - All versions
It was just an oil change qnd greasing dude. I dont think it would make any impact on pickup by any means.Originally posted by ramndharu View PostGreat info bro
How is the pickup in ur bike after first service, has it reduced ?
I am not happy with Bajaj's service here. They dont even wash the bike properly. A crow dropping on the handle bar was still there (I left it on purpose to see if they really wash the bike like how I wash it at home 😆
.
I would be travelling to my In laws village tomorrow.. Let me see if my AVY boy can sprint the way it did on saturday.

Re: Bajaj Avenger - All versions
Bajaj service is good at my place, They water wash it so forcefully that they tear the stickers you had on your bike, really gets my nerve.. 😡I felt a severe drop in pickup in my bike after first service i was like rotating the throttle for sometime for it to reach to 80 and it was struggling😧 very hard to touch the 100 mark, habe planned to visit the showroom this weekend for enquiring abt the low pickup.. It kind of gives a low confidence while overtaking😤Originally posted by sshariq View PostIt was just an oil change qnd greasing dude. I dont think it would make any impact on pickup by any means.

Attention all 150cc avy. have you ever felt the hiccups in your avy 150 while ridding i bean jerking or a feeling of fuel not being able to supply properly. Here alot of people are facing this problem on there 150cc as well as 220cc. As well as myself. When asked the service engineer mr Tariq from the company he said company is looking into this matter and very soon a remedy will come out when god knows. Till that time just live with this.click me

Re: Bajaj Avenger - All versions
Checkout clutch cable plus..ride the bike in RESERVE mode even though it has enough fuel... Bcos...pulsars engine or carburetor has something to do with pressure variation in fuel tank...wen riding on reserve.. Doesn't have hiccups...try it n tellOriginally posted by arjunb25 View PostAttention all 150cc avy. have you ever felt the hiccups in your avy 150 while ridding i bean jerking or a feeling of fuel not being able to supply properly. Re: Bajaj Avenger - All versions
Hello Riders!
Is there anyone who owns a Bajaj avenger 220 cruise? I mention again, the cruise 220, not the street 220.
It would be of great help if any owner of avenger 220 cruise tells me how the bike is?
I heard that it is very good on highways.
I have few questions.
How is the overall quality of the bike? Any changes made in quality or due to cost cutting?
How does it handle in city traffic? Is it more comfortable than the previous avenger 220 on highways?
I ride most of the time on Highways.
I do not consider the street 220 for myself.
Thanks!

Re: Bajaj Avenger - All versions
UPDATE: After the first service I got a chance to take my AVY 220 on to the highway today.
A round trip of 140kms to & fro my Inlaws house in karkala.
Performance has bettered with every Km and on the same straight stretch of the highway where I managed to touch 125kmph last time, I muscled my machine to 130kmph barrier today. I assume this is the max speed.

Re: Bajaj Avenger - All versions
It's a great news as you are getting this mileage from this 220cc mill. Mine is avenger 220 , red, whom I call "Phoenix" lovingly. I am getting around 40 kmpl on average. Phoenix will cross 20k km on odo after some days. :-)Originally posted by sshariq View Post@ AbhiAvvy
Thank you mate!! 😀😬😬
Happy and lucky dad + proud owner of Avenger 220 street.
How much are u getting on ur Avy 220 and which model bike is yours nd whats the odo reading now..?
I already made 3 trips to Karkala (MIL's town).
This mileage of 47kmpl which I got was in 30%city and 70% state highway (Curvy geeen route) conditions.
My riding style is like a college going guy on his RX 1OO though am 31yrs old now 😆.
I was constantly riding between 70-100kmph on the highway and in city like a teenager (RX 100 Style) but still my BULL managed to return 47kmpl.
Awesome Avy boy🙌💖!!!Phoenix Came, Saw and Conquer My Heart, Forever...

Re: Bajaj Avenger - All versions
Finally brothers the problem of hickups have finished. When the vehicle was put on the co% machine. It was showing 0.90 which according to the engineer and mechanic is very less due to which these hick ups are there hence they have reset the carburettor. I am just hoping that the fe. Does not go bad because of this. Now the Co is set to somewhere 2.30. Bike is running superb even in the morning there is no need for pulling choke initially the bike used to stop even after putting the choke on for 1 min. I have faced this and seen for which I was shocked but now at the end of the day my problem is solved feeling happy and happy. Tommorrow riding with friends.Last edited by arjunb25; 03-18-2016, 05:02 PM.click me
