Hey guys, I'm kinda new here. Yesterday I joined the Bajaj family, I bought the Avenger street 150. The bike is amazing! superb comfort and the acceleration is good up until 60, i haven't gone beyond that. Its the first street in my area and everyone was oggling at my bike, even the RE guys , she is such a beauty.

Because it was a day time and the sun was right on our head which was actually very hot, the bike did not miss even ones I mean while acceleration the feel of struggling was not there. After we came back at night around 9:00 we had to meet again for dinner so thought of going on the bike again. Where the engine was worm not that worm as it was in the day time now the feeling was felt while acceleration. I think in the day time it will not but at nights it will. Anyways today I had a good fun ride. Which included
          1. 2 harley iron 883
          1. Gixer 1000th
          1. Ninja 300 and 650
          2. Bullets classic 350 brand new
          And
          1. Bajaj avanger 150cc
Congratulations, I have got my Bajaj Avenger 220 Street on January 20th, 2016. Till now completed 1100 KMS on ODO and done with my first service.
The only concern I have with Avenger is its rear brake, at a speed of 80 Kmph, it actually doesn't work. I mean without applying the front brake its impossible to stop the bike on a timely manner. Thank God, as I am used to apply my front break (since before the disc brake exist in India), I am surviving otherwise its very difficult for anyone. Any suggestions, please send it to me. I really wanted to see my rear brakes should get some better bite than the current situation. Any idea on fixing a disc break from after market to Avenger?

Congrats on your seed for the breaks even I was having some difficulty hence I got it tightened but still I am used to applying both breaks. But after getting the job work done on the breaks still when applying just only back break it works perfectly. Try it but after he does the job in the asc put the bike on main stand and rotate your back wheel just to see if there is a good play in the wheel.

Contact with the mechanics who does the mod job. This mod will be expensive and need some expertise in this field. As brakes are the most important safety measure for any automotives you should think twice before attempting this type of modification.

Rode my bike for a 150km and after reaching the destination, there was some kind of noise like current whizzing, unknowingly touched the spark plug and got shocked. The sprark plug electrode has detached and i was able to see sparks. I decided to go to the showroom and there they changed the sparkplug. The sparkplug may be the reason for coughing of the bike , i guess. Now the bike is back to its full. Happy riding☺

Guys I want to change the tyre to tubeless from tube. I mean no where I am able to get this. Be it net company like mrf, dear, etc... No one makes 130/90 r15. Why. They should make this. Anyone out there who has got this or any other mode for tubules please tell me. But I want to fit it in the current stock alloys. I have changed the front one to tubeless but the rear wow it has given me a shock.

I have to put the electrode and connect it, so it starts and runs and then sparks starts to come i have to switch off the engine and tighten the sparkplug with the cap and rode again till i reached the showroom, got it changed, no problem right now. Sailing smoothly.

Guys be careful when you try to install disc brake... Avenger braking as far i concern is best at 60%front brkaing and 40 back or 70front 30back... Because... Since its cruiser the back tyre skids easily when braking hard... Or try ABS system

Firstly congrats. I am also a owner of 150cc street. My first service is over thank God, I have used moto 4 gold 20w50 on my seed. My reviews on this oil so far km done 1500 my first oil was changed at 400 km. My bike is very smooth the gear shift is very good neutral no issues they are to smooth with this oil I am feeling the bike is like butter.

Never add anything additional to the engine oil or petrol. The company people make money this way. Even if your dealer says the if you don't use our engine oil you shall lose warranty. For this a simple answer no where in the manual they have mentioned this. You can use which ever oil you wish to but it should be of the same grade. More over after running 200 km or more if and unless the oil is sent for deep study then only they can say which oil is used otherwise no one can.

Motul I will advice after 4000 km 15w50. For the side fitting for the ladies to suit go to your welder maybe he can do something about this. Yes for the back rest it is available here in my city it is for 1200rs. I am also planning to fit the same.

Yes thats true. even in the service manual they only 'Strongly Recommend Bajaj Engine oil', but the star mark does say that you can still use any other oil of the same specifications and its not a problem as long as you maintain the frequency of certain given points from the maintenance charts.
