[QUOTE=AbhiAvvy13;1207117]In my opinion the front tyre seems really thin when looking from front. Did you changed that too?

I have changed to michelin pilot sporty 90/90-17...same size as before.... Front is thin.... I like to upgrade to 110/90 or 110/80-17 but thing is there is NO ROOM for tat size tyre...either you have to widen the front forks which include modifying front fork platform

I have seen this handlebar on a custom thunderbird. It looks really nice. Does it fit all the the instrument clusters properly?

I think it looks good with the backrest. Just my opinion. You can post a picture with backrest and without backrest side by side for better comparison.

Have you tried Motul 5100 4T 15w50. This one I have heard is the best for pulsars and avengers.

Looks good without back rest. Unless you really wanted it black, consider getting the handle bar chrome plated, it will go with the over all look and theme of the bike!

yeah ave is looking like a kid in front of those heavy machines.

One thing I like to mention here regarding this seed for which I have tested in 5 bikes till now. Yes in winter season this particular 150cc needs really good time to heat itself if god for bit she is not set to that good degree of engine heat you have to really pull her hard other wise she will stall. The rpm is perfectly set co% temperatures are perfect not changed the stock setting of the carb. But yes I have noticed 2 things 1 in the afternoon when there is good sun light the bike runs really smooth without you getting a feeling of fuel unable to supply properly while ridding the bike. But in 2 timming that is at night she really gives a good trouble. I mean to say is that she will stall if and unless the bike is not set to that heat level of the engine. Then really it is difficult to ride at night. I asked about this with the company as well as the mechanic. They all are saying that when winter is over the bike will run perfectly. I guess the air cool system which they have introduced is the real culprit behind all this.
Experts I hope I have made my point clear can you all help me out here to understand this air cool system.
What I am facing is the when ridding the bike at 40 or going up at 50 or comming down while giving the acceleration I can feel the bike is not getting good amount of fuel. For which I have checked the same thing in different vehicles from the company to all are having this particular effect. When asked the company people they say that one's the bike comes in 60 degrees then the bike will come to a normal way of ridding and you will not get any problems.
Hence it's ok I am getting used to it. But one has to really understand this. Properly as this is somewhere or the other a concern. What do you all say. Those who have purchased 150cc please give your verdict here so that few things can be cleared. Is this thing in few batch or all. Tested this on 5 vehicles 2 brand new and 3 of the current owners.

Try to set the idle speed correctly. This may be the reason of stalling. Also try to use a better engine oil if you are using bajaj engine oil.

                  Did you try CHOKE Start?

Also the best warm up is to let the engine idle (or run with choke, or very slight throttle) for about 30-60 seconds. And/or you may alternatively, run the bike for a few metres just on the first gear (not with full throttle though)

I start the bike with choke on for 1 min and then let it idle for another 1 min. Plus I went to asc today took there meter and got it set the rpm the after a complete ride for 30 min when the engine was hot he has set it to 1240 rpm which was showing on the meter please suggest if it is correct otherwise I will go back. Too much of tampering may lead to bad things.

Yes got it done as of now the bike is parked well the mechanic was saying that many people are complaining about this well he also says let the winter season get over then everything will be back to normal. One more thing after the bike has come to a good optimum heat level she does wonder on the road for sure plus it's just in the morning say 10 min is really bad for this bike as the engine is designed in such a way that is gets in normal temperature very fast. I mean according to the weather. Allahabad being very cold hence having this difficulties. Also just got the engine oil with moto 4 gold 20w50 engine oil it is a mineral engine oil not semi synthetic. Won't be using one ever I mean semi one. As the bike is 150cc. Hence shall be sticking to the manual. But not bajaj engine oil for sure the worst ever engine oil ever come accross. This is my 5 bajaj bike. As being a bajaj lover and more over the people here at bajaj all know me plus the owner is a brother to me hence not having much of a problem.
When ever I get stuck they are there to assist me.
I was thinking that the mechanic should have set either to 1300 or 1200 rpm why 1220. What I noticed when he was setting the rpm as I was the one who actually did the setting my self he was just there to guide. He said leave it now you will not have problems plus the fuel was also low the bike was going to come to reserve by then that could also be one of the reason. Shall let you all know in a days time if the problem is there or not. If not all good otherwise they will come to my house this time as I don't have that much of time to spare to go to the service center that number of times. It's just that I don't want to harm the engine in any way.
As the bike really becomes bad if open. Just crossing my fingures for this as of now.

Buddy.... Try to run the bike with fuel on "RESERVE MODE" even though you are not on reserve... And let us know how is your missing thing... Also..since you are at winter climate why don't you try 15w50 or 15w40 engine oil...bcos...as far as i know...15w50 doesnot need much heating as 20w50 to run smoothly...
Try reading this thread... It will give you more idea of engine oil

Family please read and understand this. The engine is pure cold I start the bike with choke on there is a kasssh sound comes from the starter while starting the bike. Now after the bike become hot checked and confirmed the bike runs smoothly without jerks or miss or shutting no problem lovely. But when I come home switch off again and restart the bike just to see the kasssh sound nope this time after the engine is hot there was no such sound coming. Then I go inside and come out after 4 hrs. This time again check for the engine it is fully cold again choke and start again. I hear the same sound kasssh but the bike starts normally again. Fully heating of the bike shut the vehicle and she starts with any sound or problems. Now what is this this guys throw some light. Please this is troubling me now. Well also I need a advice today bike got its first scratch. See the snap and give suggestions for it.

Bro I really don't have idea about gulf. But some people are against the moto 4. My friend uses motul on his pulsar and I have also ridden it. It is really smooth. Motul 3100 is also a good vfm. I think drain interval will be 2000-2500kms.

The starting sound the motor is harsh in avenger than some other bikes. That 'kassh' sound does not appear that loud while the engine is hot just because the starter has to work less than the cold start. Don't worry too much. It's not a problem. Just enjoy your ride.
