Happened with me on 1st day, getting used to it now.
I got the indicator buzzers fixed, the flasher is located near battery, inside right panel.

Costs 35/- and 15/- for installation, total 50/-

It is not possible to increase the idle speed each day automatically. May be you should check that nut or spring if it's okay. Or you are thinking just thinking too much about it.

It's normal for the engine to increase idle when warm. Cold idle will be slower than warm idle. Set the engine idle such that the bike starts and idles properly during cold start. Once warmed up, the engine will idle with little higher rpm but it's ok unless the rpm shoots up too high.

Guys be aware, for those who are thinking to buy new avenger, carefully check bike before signing delivery challan, i got my new bike at 8 pm on 4th December 2015, so it was much dark in parking of showroom, i got bike and drive to my home 40 km away, morning i found that tail light is little cross and not fitted properly, i took pics and sent to dealer using whastapp, he told me they will fix it in first service, after 9 days i went there for first service and told them to fix it, they did whole service but not fixed it and reason was parts not yet available for 150 street, they promised to fix on 2nd service when parts also will available, i got there for 2nd service today because bike clocked 4466kms and i told them to fix it again, they didnt fixed it and said it cannot be fixed because i have to report it when i purchased bike, person whom i contacted has been left showroom, so new people refused to fix it, they said it may be damaged due to improper handing. also they did not change oil filter, he told me that my bike not need to change oil filter because it does not have any changeable filter in engine, he said only need to clean it and he will clean in service, but i can see they have not opened any bolt in engine, so they even not cleaned it upon my request, a big white lie, Also be careful for bike wash at bajaj service center, rubber ring on speedometer will go terrible like ripped everywhere and two rubber packing at grab handle on back also will change color like rust from many years, my advice is wash bike yourself and never allow them to wash your bike, also when i went to pay bill for oil change i was shocked, in bill they wrote 10w30 oil while avenger need 20w50, i told cashier and he said it just typing mistake but they used 20w50 in my bike, and then he printed another bill with correct values, dont know trust them or not, all are lazy and careless service center here in surat and navsari, i paid them 470 for 1.2L 20w50 dtsi oil, when i was preparing to drive bike back to home, i see a man was arguing with service center manager, his 150 street have severe oil leakage from gear knob, he told me that this is third time he visiting service center for fix it and evevry time when he ride home, oil start to leak within few hours, even his bike not had number plate yet, this was my last service at bajaj, i dont trust their fake warranty anymore, from now i will wash and lubricate bike myself and will use oil of my choice such as motul or other good brand, in short avenger is great but bajaj is not, they do not welcome people who have manufacturing defects, they only welcome to those who are ready to pay hard earned money blindly....

Just got my second service done just 2 days back. And in the first as well as in the second service I get the air filter change in every service I don't get it cleaned. Also one should be careful as an order has been passed by bajaj to clean the filter which is inside the clutch head. Right underneath the yellow gear Shifter which is inside the gasket of clutch. For which they happen to charge 50rs on every service just to make money. Where as I remember in the previous booklet it was mentioned to get it cleaned every 15000 km. And not the every service schedule. What a way to make money wow. Bajaj talia.. I am using my favourite engine oil from day one moto 4 gold 20w50.
I also got the co % set as the bike was having alot of jerk or you can call hickups but after the setting of the carburetor everything is just perfect touch wood but now by seed is delivering very good fuel efficiency of 52 km/ltr in city. After 2 service which previously it was giving 42 km/ltr and that jerk is also over now. The bike is in best of health and condition but the saddest part is that I feel scared that I don't get a puncture as there are no tubeless tyres in it. I have asked every company dealer manufacturers of tyres in india. Non I mean non have 130/90 r15 for back for avanger.
They say that we don't make this number. Wow amazing. Just for nitrogen put in the tyres which costed me 10 rs each for each tyres.
              I am happy.

I will tell you a story. Harley people had come over to my town for a display of there 2 brands. Well as my friend who has a iron 883 asked me to accompany him over there and I could get a test ride of street 750. Well mout watering offer hence I went there. As I was leading and it was a day time I switched on my head lights to the get exact feel of harley when entering that premises.
I was leading entered my friend was just behind me. As entering of the gate the person standing inside the canopy of harley asked me sir your parking is here right next to the harley. Well I parked with a smile and my friend parked his iron next to mine. Removed the helmet and started talking and discussion of the street 750. Then he said sir I am angry with you, I asked him why are you angry with me then he said sir you did not take the delievery with us rather you took it from delhi I asked him excuse me which delivery. He said pointing on my bajaj street 150cc sir this bike I said dude thank you so much for giving an 85000rs bike a khitab of 450000 rs bike. Wow then he was feeling very embarrassed and he could not show his eyes after that. Wow that was a day when I was like feeling very nice about it. Today wanted to share this experience with you all. Also few people shout when you just turn the parking light on in day time and ride sitting up right full confidence they shout and say bhai daikh harley. I have heard this comment n. Number of times trust me. This bike Is a head turner everywhere you go with her.
Love the bike don't want to change and buy a new one. As I normally change after 2.5 years but this time thinking of settling down with her for some more years with the bike. Hope it is true. Loving it every bit of it. All the best friends brothers good luck happy ridding and thanks for reading.

                • Getting your bike serviced

hey guys, do the mechanics pay special attention to the maintenance of the vehicle when it is getting serviced for the 1st time?
I'm expecting my Cruise to get serviced this week...
what changes should I notice after the service ?

They just wash bike and change oil, and they rectify any reported issue by you if its easy, otherwise they just say issue due to new bike and it will be fine after some more kms of breakin. Check all scratches in your bike and count all new scratches after service done, best advice to not visit them if you are in surat or navsari in Gujarat, dont know about other place, do report your experience if anything is wrong, so other people can learn. Thanks

You will experience smoother engine after first oil change, because new engine is feeling little jerk and after oil change all parts are more smooth, and dont fall in common trap of those guys about adding extra things in fule tank and oil chamber, just tell them to change oil in front of you and not pour any other chemicals like oil enhancer, booster etc.

First of all congrats on your new bike.
I would personly suggest you not to modify the bike right away.
Your body and riding style will get accustomed to the stock conditions.
Its a beautiful bike as it is. Wait for a couple of months or a year before you decide to make any changes.

Congrats brother. Welcome to the club. Ask bencherian for the rear shock modification. He has done this mod on his bike.

I am unable to find tubeless tyres for Avenger. Front tyre is the same as Pulsar but the mechanic is advising me to go for a different size for the rear tyres. So instead of 130, I will have to go for 150. Should I ? Please help.

That would create problem. Your swingarm should be modified for that I think.
