How many of you knew that there is a parking light switch in our beloved Avenger??
I came to know during my trip on saturday from a friend who has owned a Avenger in the past.
It was a surpise. Even the Bajaj guys didnt tell me about it during the bike delivery.

Arpit Mehta - Just put the key in and first twist is for the Ignition, Press and twist again to the right and the parking light and break light will switch ON, You can pull out the key with parking lights on. Its just like how we have in most of our cars😆😆

Need some help... can anybody tell me how to solve the ticking noise coming from the second spark plug area ? It has just clocked 900kms and I don't exceed 100kmph . I'm a calm rider.

Go for the mrf zapper vyde 15" TL for the rear and zapper fx 17" for the front .

When are you getting the noise? While riding, while idling or white the ignition is off?

Checkout the spark plug.. i had the sparkplug issue, the electrode in the sparkplug might be worn out, ask the bajaj service centre guys to check it out. Dont touch the spark plug while the engine is on, got electrocuted myself.

Ticking noise. Strange never came across such a thing. Is your first service done. Maybe it's my guess your spark plug is loose. As when in my first service I was relax as the day I bought my bike very next day went to the asc got all the nuts from front till end tightened. As I know what goes on with bajaj.
Buddy you call your self a calm rider good keep it up. Doing speed of 100 that's calm wow. Calm is 40-50 speed. Good for the bike and good for us. 100 sometimes for fun for few seconds. As this is a cruiser not a racer. Enjoy it. Respect it the bike will also respect you alot. Trust me.

I would also be waiting for a feed back from you after you get those tubeless fit on the alloys I might also buy the same. As can't ride peacefully with tube tyres.
Are these what your are putting.
150/90 r15 for rear and same size for the front. As front is easily available.

Hey there, I would tell you from my experience, my brother has an avenger 220, he took it to a mechanic who took out the tube of the rear wheel, changed the valve, put just the tyre back and inflated it and guess what? Its running flawlessly! The front wheel can be done in the same way too but he chose not to tamper with that right now and instead go do a trial with the tubeless setup made of stock tyres, about a month now and its still working fine!

The new one ofcourse, the Street 220 to be precise, only alloy wheels can incorporate tubeless tyres.

But what will happen in case there is a puncture? Can the tyre be repaired with regular tubeless tyre repair kit as those tyres are not being tubless ones?
