    again , not sure if i am hearing things or what, but the bike even sounds a little harsh when its idling in neutral T_T

    this is my first bike so i am all sorts of paranoid and trying not to mess anything up. <<

    if anyone want i can record the sounds of my bike idling and upload it somewhere and then you be the judge!
    There are a lot of moving parts inside the engine so its quite normal to hear some buzzing, plus its a new motorcycle so there are parts which are yet to bed in with the rest.

    Just make sure that the oil level is at the recommended level(after idling and turning off the motor for 2 mins) and then you're good to go. Cheers

      Hello all. I bought my avenger in Feb and got the first service in march.
      My question is, when should I get the second service done? it's confusing because the paid services are at an interval of 120 days while the second free service is after 240.
      So should I wait till 240 days or 120 days?

        Forget everything and remember to take your bike to service station at 3 months or 3500km.. whichever is earlier.. moreover in given above 2nd service due at 240 days is from date of purchasing.. first service at 40-45 days... second at 240 days and 3rd 360 (within 1 year of purchasing)

          I have an Avenger 220 Street with 640 Kms on the ODO. Second service done but i still face vibrations when i cross 65KM speed.

          Can somebody share some inputs on how to reduce the same?

          Bike is serviced by Bajaj Authorized Service Station so the oil used is what they put by default.

              Yes, bike is used very less. Purchase date was October 2016. Service was done as per dates mentioned in the manual and Service center, so ideally is was time bound service rather than Km bound service

                Guys, Do not bother about bike vibrations or top speed noise until engine break in period.
                Its normal for new engine to heat, vibrate , make noise. So drive it with proper service till 3k to 4k .

                hi,
                There is setting on rear suspension to make it hard/soft. Check with any mechanic for that.
                You should modify seat by adding 2 inch extra foam over seat and you will get comfortable drive.

                Note: All suspensions are designed for maximum safety at high speeds,so at low speeds and potholes, you feel them hard. But its not fault of suspension but failure of local road authority bodies.

                  oh.. you are not doing justice with your machine.. i m feeling sad for your bike.. your bike would have been feeling bored standing still at home... take her out.. ride at a constant speed at 55-60 for first 1000 kms.. then don't cross 90 for next 1000kms.. all stress from your bike engine will be gone.. Happy Riding

                    Thanks, have not been getting time to ride it. Correct that i am not doing justice to her. Hence have listed for sale. Maybe the new owner takes better care than me.

                            yes, new street models come with tubeless. Even if your street has tube tyre, you can convert it to tubeless in less than 150 rs.

                                How? could you share any link , i tried for getting tubeless tyre of avenger rear wheel but after putting lots of effort I am not able to find one.
