it seemed pretty obvious from the ultra slow motion video Dorna's been providing in between the races. The Yamaha's running on soft tyres had enough grip around corners to keep the bike moving in the desired direction, while the honda's using hard rear had trouble keep the rear from spinning faster than the front. This was with both Stoner and Dani. While the Yamaha's were relishing the tyre choices made, the Honda's were suffering badly because of their own.Originally posted by princesirohi View Postmissed it yesterday, will watch the replay.
btw, rossi started 9th and finished 7th- not much of an improvement.
and stoner started 1st and finished fourth, why? what happened?Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.

Remember, Rossi can't push the Duc when its dry. And second, he used up a lot of rubber chasing Bautista.Originally posted by princesirohi View Postrossi started 9th and finished 7th- not much of an improvement.
Honda and the tyres: It seems that HRC misread the tyres' pattern or whatever it is, and designed the RCV which, I reckon is the reason why they aren't able to have the best runs.
Stoner hates when it chatters. Has he given up already?

Except the three hondas of Stoner, Ped and Bradl all other bikes were on the softer option. The reason being that the weather was about 15 degrees C cooler on sunday as compared to qualifying. So the tires held up quite well for the yams.Originally posted by princesirohi View Posthmmnn, so it seems bad tyre choice for honda.
but this was not a wet race, still yamaha went with softer option, were they not struggling in the final laps?
The positive for Rossi was that till almost the 3rd last lap he was close to podium position. Not happened till now in a dry race. Hayden couldn't push his bike because he had arm fainting problems. So we don't know for sure if Ducati has improved slightly with the new electronics or not.Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Its the tyre choice which played the most important part but Yamaha s where not going out in final stages they had the same phase right from the start for example Ben went down in the early stage of the race but he finished 10th he almost caught hayden in the finishing laps ..... Right from the beginning of the season Honda s performance is dying in later part of the race Yamaha s show a steady pace... Its great to see satellite Yamaha s giving a tuf time for factory Honda s ....Yamaha RX100 (1993)
Yamaha RX135 (2000)
Bajaj Pulsar 150 (2004)
Yamaha FZ-25 (2017)
TVS N-Torq (2018)

Bridgstone brought a new Tyre and non of the riders like it. the more power you have. more unhappy you will be.Originally posted by princesirohi View Postmissed it yesterday, will watch the replay.

Honda is not able to use it as it gives lot of vibration in the front and they also have issues with traction control unit. they call it chattering..
its a problem with Traction control combined with power. the rider opens the throttle but starts looses grip, so traction control will start slipping clutch to match the speed but since the tyre looses grip again after the speed adjustment that creates a vibration effect which is called as chattering...
Traction control needs to be set in a way that it is not interfering with rider... When you accelerate and the tyre start loosing grip, the bike starts to slip clutch to match the rear wheel with the front wheel speed my +2 or +4 depending on the rider and style. but if traction control is trying to control too much, rider wont feel the confidence since natural drift will be countered and will cause unusual wheelies like the one Dany had in last round..http://cbrfansclub.createaforum.com/...-engine-specs/
