The Ducatis take 1-2. And 0.7 seconds ahead of third placed Dovi

What is the problem?
After the wet FP1, wish Ducati makes/invents some kind of technology, thats keeps the tyres wet throughout the race ... no matter what the weather condition are.
Dont understand what happens to them(Duc riders) in dry racing.
I mean Nicky does well in FP's, but finishes below where he should in Race. And Rossi, all knows about him well in dry race.
Is it a tyre problem? Frame problem? (if yes, where this problem goes during wet races)...

The primary problems with Ducati are lack of front end feel and under-steer. Apparently, they get enough front end feel and there's minimal to no under-steer problem when it's wet. Also, the power of the motorcycle becomes more tractable as per their settings for wet conditions. Not good news for Ducati in Quali. Bautista does a Simo, good for him. Last 10 minutes of Quali got rained out, so stratergies went for a toss. Hayden and Rossi both crashed at the same corner during quali. Results -

Bautista did well and finished 1st.
Nicky and Rossi lost their most track suited bike... they almost withdrew
there. Nicky was flying good before falling on that lap. He would surely had finished in top 5, maybe even better.
2 crashes of ducaties, runoffs by spies and lorenzo.
Almost ever rider lost interest within few laps after rain flag was shown.
Hope it rains in race...
Need to see how riders(all three class) responds to that area near the finish line, where running wide was not allowed after exiting the last corner. In QP of moto3, timing of riders wasnt counted for one lap, where many ran wide in that area.Last edited by Vijay1911; 06-17-2012, 12:42 AM.Comment

Hayden was using new settings, and Rossi copied those settings! But Hayden is doing well with the Ducati in practice and qualifying, while Rossi is struggling. Rossi is 1.2 seconds behind Hayden and 2 seconds behind pole. Not good news.Originally posted by princesirohi View Post
