    If Marquez's firm holding on the repsol was not present, it would have given a breather to a lot of riders.
    I am wondering what if Ben is ruled out of factory Yamaha, he'll suffer a lot.

    One thing i never understood about the rookie rule.
    Bautista went straight to the Rizla Suzuki factory team on his MotoGP debut.
    Lorenzo also went straight to the Fiat Yamaha on his debut.
    What exactly the is the rookie rule is then?
    I never understood it.
    Giving a lot to a fiero.
    Expecting a lot from a fiero.

      The rookie rule was not present when Lorenzo joined motogp. It was introduced the year Spies joined. to help out the Satellite teams. Bautista was given an exception because Suzuki did not have any satellite teams. Also Dorna didn't want Suzuki to leave.

      Now the rookie rule has been abolished. So no riders were actually effected by the rookie rule!
      Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

            No I didn't forget. Spies was unaffected as there was no place in the factory yamaha at the time. Both Rossi and Lorenzo already had contracts. So spies could get in only if one of the two left. Which did happen the next year

              The picture is looking great .....
              Ya I accept with Ben Spies .. But for bringing Marquez (Spanish) in the Repsol team (Spanish) they should have not crapped the rule.. If Marquez was signed by Yamaha will Dorna scrap the rule.....

                Marquez was a different thing entirely. This rule was made to help out the Satellite teams. But the satellite teams asked for this rule to be scrapped. Too much sponsorship clashes for Gresini and LCR.

                  Sachsenring Track got wet for MotoGP. ... Rain has stopped, but the track is still wet.

                    Rossi's rear tyre slipping while leaving the turns... causing damge to his Timings. Though he still manages to be in top 4 in 5 laps. Now in pit.

                        Thought that Lorenzo will stay in pits as he lost one engine but he went through practice and got a good position ......

                          hayden is on fire, 8mins to go,he leads the pack. seems like he wanna prove something.

                          edit: frantic battle going on, with bradl, hayden, spies, exchanging top spots in quick succession with occasional stoner and lorenzo thown in.
