Motogp silly season puzzle is slowly falling into place with Ben Spies quitting out from Yamaha Factory team and now Nicky Hayden signs a one year deal with Ducati factory team.
Hope Valentino will be back in Yamaha factory team because Lorenzo putting a welcome mat for Rossi saying its good to have a competitive team mate... Excited to see where will Rossi stay .. but praying Rossi should be back in Yamaha....

This weekend's race would be at night? Around 2am?!

Why is it that only motogp class races at laguna ?

good news, but its only a one year extension to its contract.

The bad news is that Ducatis are 1.3 - 1.7 seconds off the pace of the leaders in FP1 and FP 2.

They dont have any mojor updates. Test results were the same.
Hondas seemed to have fixed the issues.

Only improvement would be in fp1 Ducs were 1.23 +, in fp2 they are 1.22+.

The Best CRT(A. Espargaro) is Just one sec slower than Rossi's Ducati.

But things would change during QP and races .

The Mazda Speedway at Leguna Seca is in California (West Coast of USA) which lies on the other end for Europe visitors. Thus it's costs them hefty lot to bring the several Moto2 or 3 bikes along with crew and equipment to the facility.
Moreover facility does not have enough paddock space to accommodate all these teams and equipment on the same day.

Even i thought that the pit lane might be smaller for all the support classes, but after realizing that the AMA lads race there on the same day and also that Donnington had a smaller pit lane i was doubtful.

Hayden to ducati is what rahul dravid was to indian team. ducati is using him as a little bit of reliability factor and consistency factor. ducati will be recruiting a few new riders for next year.

i dont think ducati can change or will change, its like a government establishment. you can't change them much, this is there bike, if you feel you can ride it to podium, best of luck, otherwise go to yamaha or honda.

other riders who are so eager to join ducati factory team wants it just because it is a factory team.

• rossi needs a bike as smooth as a butter in terms of handling and power delivery and the feedback the bike gives--- ducati is everything except this.
• rossi needs fast changes to bike, fast upgrades etc. ---ducati takes its own time to build new parts.

c'mon, in one and a half years time, with so much at stake, they could have built an entirely new bike-- 100% upto their riders specifications.

rossi...buddy its time to say bye-bye to ducati and your dream, you two are not made for each other.

and i am not saying that ducati is a bad bike, its just that it is unrideable by most of the riders.

Till now Barbera always has used a tow to get a good qualifying position. But Rossi uses his team mate to finish the race -
