Go 99!!!
Having started from fourth on the grid, Lorenzo dropped to fifth at the start and held position until lap six when he carved through to take up second place behind Casey Stoner in the lead. Stoner was only able to hold him off for four laps before the Championship leader made his move, the pass a beautiful battle with his rival over several corners.Originally posted by princesirohi View Postany updates. ?????
Lorenzo then led from lap 11 to the finish line, a small mistake four laps from the end causing him to sit up was the only threat to victory. He crossed the line 3.313 seconds ahead of Stoner, taking maximum points and increasing his lead in the 2012 standings to 25 points.

^^ Why do you consider Spies a zero in yesterday's race?
Good/Bad day for Ducati. Rossi had a miserable time. But Hayden did quite well. He had the third fastest lap time of the race. Just off by .034 of a second from top. He finished the race just 15secs of the winner, half of what was there in Qatar. He was facing problems with the electronics once again, which were acting up on a few corners and not giving him enough power on the straights. Also his tires were wearing off by the end. But it was a pleasure to watch him man handle the Ducati, sliding the rear along to control it. Beautiful! But sadly he started dropping off by the end of the race. And Cal did a wonderful job of displacing him on the last lap.
One of the best dry Motogp races this season to watch. Though Moto 2 & 3 were slightly sober this weekend compared to earlier.Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

^^ bcoz a injured satelite rider, cal, missed a days time at the track, has no clue on the setting, starts from last in the grid and finishes 6th place less than 3.5 secs off Spies, who started from front row. Before Dovi crashed he has comfortably passed spies. This is high time for Spies to perform..
Also there were some conversation in the commentary that Cal is rumored to sign with Duc, Bradl will talks with Duc for 2014 as he is a German...Last edited by prabhubravo; 06-18-2012, 11:58 AM.

But you must also take into consideration the fact that Spies has been having a torrid time this season. And it does take a race or two to build up his confidence. So in light of that, this race was reasonably good from him.
That doesn't in anyway mean that I am trying to take anything away from Cal. Superb guy, but he is having a wonderful year and he is high on confidence.
With the rookie rule scrapped, I do hope Ducati will take a risk with a crasher rookie, who might win them another title!Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

but 1/3 of the races are already gone. A guys of 'his level' should pull back things faster, esp on his 3rd year in motogp. May be my expectations on him was high! (ur best critiques are the best fans
