Re: MotoGP 2013 Season - Updates
there might be fixing..but we can't jump to that conclusion just because another scan revealed more details.
Injuries generally change by time. Even if they don't we can't rely 100% on our electronic equipment. They only show us what we made them to show, which might not be the exact situations.
So I would say there is more to an injury than just patient, doctor and equipment. And these are actually high level athletes, the limit to which the push their bodies can worsen any injury.

Re: MotoGP 2013 Season - Updates
Oh ok..so we've got changes again.
one of it says - "Each Manufacturer, (including motorcycle manufacturers and chassis manufacturers), can choose to enter up to 4 riders for the season who will participate with “Factory” status"
and - The rules also confirm that new MotoGP manufacturers can have nine engines in their first year. The question that remains is whether Suzuki, which has announced a MotoGP return for 2015, will be considered a 'new' manufacturer, having pulled out at the end of 2011.
The full text of the latest 2014 ECU rules can be seen below:
MotoGP Class - Effective 2014
Electronics (ECU) Regulations
A detailed specification and permitted options were confirmed.
The use of the official MotoGP ECU, including an internal datalogger, and the official MotoGP software package is compulsory.
Maximum fuel capacity is 24 litres.
Maximum number of engines per rider, per season, is 12.
Factory Status
Each Manufacturer, (including motorcycle manufacturers and chassis manufacturers), can choose to enter up to 4 riders for the season who will participate with “Factory” status.
The use of the official MotoGP ECU is compulsory. However manufacturers are permitted to develop and use their own software.
Maximum fuel capacity is 20 litres.
Maximum number of engines per rider, per season, is five. (Nine Engines for the first year of participation by a new manufacturer).

Re: MotoGP 2013 Season - Updates
Rest of it is actually shite!Ducati appears to have won the race for Crutchlow’s signature, though MCN has learned he has until Saturday (tomorrow) to inform Tech 3 on whether he will accept an improved pay deal and factory contract direct with Yamaha.
That’s a deadline that was extended by a fortnight as Yamaha tries to do everything possible to keep the 27-year-old, who was also recently linked with a shock move to the LCR Honda squad.
The Yamaha deal is still not what Cructhlow desired as it the new offer doesn’t assure him of a place in Yamaha’s factory team in 2015.

Hmmm..interesting..
on the other side
Ducati on Nicky - "We are trying to see if Nicky can stay with us in a different role, maybe in MotoGP or maybe in Superbikes. We are working with him to try and keep him in the Ducati family."

Re: MotoGP 2013 Season - Updates
to be frank, ducati is not in a position to win races or be there at podiums whereas current Tech 3 bikes are much better and a good rider like Cal can occasionally challenge for podiums at regular intervals. moreover cal has been riding Tech 3 so he knows the tech 3 bike in and out. that is also an advantage. whereas ducati even after 2.5 years of swapping parts is nowhere even close to challenging for podiums. and frankly speaking in my personal opinion ducati isn't going to be competitve till atleast 1.5 more years. so it is better for cal to stick to tech 3 rather than factory ducati. it is near foolish to assume that cal can achieve better results on ducati since nobody else could do that.
so, in my opinion cal should stick to Tech3 for now.
and ducati is a total A****** company, there is absolutely no need to replace hayden. trying to hope that some other rider can make it competitive instead of trying to improve the bike. first you spread rumours that hayden will not be in factory squad, then you say that you are trying to retain him in family. i seriously wish that some other manufacturer offer him a factory ride may be suzuki/BMW or whosoever is planning to join the motogp, but its still a few years away. btw, by removing hayden, you will also be removing a world champion from the grid and only two will remain- lorenzo and rossi. poor hayden, i feel sorry for him. imagine what a significant damage his morale would have suffered riding a bike for years which everybody know can't reach podium positions.
i seriously wish that motogp should be made more cheaper so that more and more manufacturers can compete. let them use whatever tyres they want, let them have whatever amount of fuel they want, just keep a restriction on engine capacity and number of engines, that can be used, let them use magneti marelli or whatever they fancy. sole aim is to win.
ah... i wish...

But regarding MotoGP being less costly, your contradicting your own statement. Any amount of fuel, any tyre, etc still affordable? It doesn't work that way.
With a particular formula...sooner or later other manufacturers (exception Ducati
) will become competitive. Suzuki and Aprilia are in the right direction. And I'm sure with restriction on fuel and software next year..it's going to be closer. But what I would suggest is sticking to the formula. 1 or 2 changes are always welcome. But the formula's got to stick.
They can't keep on making major changes every 3-4 years and expect equal competition.Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.

Well, this kid's Italian and usually, young Italians look up to Rossi as their mentor. Well, more than anything - although Rossi was having 'fun' with Marc, he 'd be fuming inside. Revenge!
