Get Well Soon Jorge!!!

Update 1- Lorenzo is leaving for barcelona, operation tomorrow.

Update 2- Yamaha have Confirmed that Lorenzo will not race on Sunday. Declared unfit to race en-route to Barcelona

Jorge:- I have decided to go home and recover after today's crash at Sachsenring. I prefer to focus on surgery to fix the plate that was unfortunately bent during the crash. I will try to recover and be back as soon as possible.

Just finished reading that, and here you post the link. One thing comes to mind after reading the article "Obviously his ambitions outweighed his capabiity this time".

I feel JL could have taken some care instead of going all out. Some points is better than no points especially since when you are lagging behind in points. Dani should have no issue this time trying to win MotoGP.

But wait theres Marc, and newly recharged Vale and always ready Cal to spoil the party. Who said winning a title was very easy.

If Dani doesn't win this year, Honda should start looking for options, Cal included.

I guess, everyone of them's ambition outweighs their talent, that is why they manage to do things, which we feel are physics defying and unbelievable. Because they keep pushing the limit, they have reached this level, very difficult to back down now.

It's probably money in the bag for Pedrosa. It was always he injuring himself and being unable to compete in the championship. This time his biggest rival is injured beyond challenge. Unlucky for Jorge, lucky for Dani. Life - One man's food is another's poison!

With Jorge out, there's a good chance vale repeats assen. I just wish we don't have anyone saying that he never beat Jorge 😝. If he's not there to race it's not vale's problem.
Anyways, I wish Rossi fights for victories and take the championship to the wire at Valencia, eventually winning the big one. But if its not vale, it's dani for me. But not Marc please, not in the first year atleast😛

It's very sad that Lorenzo is out of contention for the championship (assuming he doesn't take part in the next 2 races and takes another 2 to start winning again), it is going to be a relatively easy task for Dani to win it. Somehow I think he's got it in the bag this year already.
R-series: After the first two races and when Marc was leading the championship, Even I dint want Marc to win it on his very first year but now I feel this guy's got pure talent and if he is able to keep the bike on tarmac all throughout the remainder of this year why not. I feel he really deserves it (next to Pedrobot )

As for Our Man, I feel it's a tough ask winning as many races as possible this year to even challenge Ped in the championship. But who wont want it to happen, I liked the way you said Rossi takes it to the wire and even wins it!!! I wish the same too !

Vale winning championship this year is logically impossible though mathematically it is. He's 51 points in arrears of Dani with 11 races to go. Roughly he has to finish 1 position ahead of Dani in all races to go on top. And then there are Lorenzo n Marq to cope up with.

Rossi winning the championship would entail Pedrosa crashing and missing a race or two. Same with Marquez. Even that would require Rossi to be winning every other race. Way toooooo much to expect!!

Dani Pedrosa injured after having a highside in FP3. Fell on his left shoulder first on asphalt. He was holding his left collar bone. But still, he was walking on his own.

----consecutive posts auto-merged-----

No fractures detected in early x-rays of Dani Pedrosa.
Further Tests to be conducted.

This is what the motoGP ticker says.

Strange but true..it seems valentino rossi will never let go his love with no 46..>Exactly 46 wins with yamaha on his first innings with the team>exactly 46 races between his last win at Assen and his win at sepang 2 years before>he has scored 4646 points in world championship road racing after winning last weeks dutch gp..Hows that?!I read the third one in 26th issue of cyclenews, according to the official compiler of motogp statistics Martin Raines.

He was faster than rest of the riders in Section 2 and 3. That made him to reach on 2nd position in FP3. Dont remember which rider were faster in section 1 and 4. But both riders who topped in section 1 and 4 were different riders. Rossi was third in section 4. Other than this, he(Rossi) was not in top 3 for sections 1,2 and 3.
