Re: MotoGP 2013 Season - Updates
Aaahhhh !!! that makes feel what else he has to show Yamaha for getting a factory ride ... What is the hell running inside Lin Jarvis's mind his answer is very childish "if"Jorge and Valentino continues beyond 2014 there is no space for Cal .. Is he that sure that they will continue with Yamaha beyond 2014 especially Rossi .... What makes him to speak like this has he found a better talent than Cal ??Originally posted by Makky View PostThe British Bull Dog isn't doing well - No factory Yamaha future for Cal Crutchlow - | Motorcycle Sport | MotoGP News | MotoGP Results | MCNYamaha RX100 (1993)

^
1. There's difference in the payment for the rider as well as the team.
2. Yamaha racing should provide a factory spec M1 - more cost.
3. A team under the factory umbrella is ensured a lot of luxuries which eases everything - more costs.
4. Cal is a very good racer but, he isn't a champion material (MotoGP) or at least it doesn't look that way.
5. Even if, Cal is given a factory M1, he may not be able to beat the top 3/4 men and win races and championship.
6. They need a champion or someone in those lines to plug Honda and Marquez in the future.
Cal is already doing well on a satellite M1. He is successful in pinching off here and there providing great entertainment but, 'll he win championship(s)?
But, I am not thorough on Pol's hiring and whether he can make any difference.
It's not just these points. Don't be surprised if, R1's sales go up in 2013, 2014 and on because of loyalty - ROSSI factor. Yamaha Motor Europe/Japan 'll have their say also, I think.
Rossi may not race on a factory M1 in 2015. He 'll be 35 and on a mutual agreement, they 'd part for the second time. His experience can be utilised by younger teams to develop their machinery.Last edited by Makky; 07-11-2013, 02:10 AM.

Okay, flash poll.
Which pairing's better in 2013? Lorenzo+Rossi vs Pedrosa+Marquez
Of course if we go by the history and the record books it's a clean sweep... 9 premier class championships against none, but looking solely at 2013, the Honda duo has earned more points/podiums this year and generally looked stronger than the Yamaha pair, so I think i'll have to give them the edge here.Bajaj Pulsar 150 : 2004-2005
Honda Dio : 2005-2012
KTM 200 Duke : 2012-
Aprilia RSV4 APRC ABS : 2014-

I think Rossi-Lorenzo. Rossi knows his place in the team and is playing a good No.2 rider. With Honda both Marc and Dani fighting, I am afraid they may take each other down.
I am not complainig, as I love the fighting and I hope Rossi too starts battling with Lorenzo.

Maybe Hayden might not want to be with Ducati either!!!Originally posted by princesirohi View Postwhy will Ducati want to remove Hayden..??
Dovi's results are only marginally better than Hayden, very marginally...
Keeping Hayden will help Ducati in development, because they will have a benchmark base to compare against.

Exactly!! Today Nicky Hayden has said that he is not confident in staying in Ducati. He also admitted talking to top WSBK teams. He said that he did not get any feedback from Ducati.Said he loved and believed in Ducati.Originally posted by The Monk View PostMaybe Hayden might not want to be with Ducati either!!!
The Doctor also explained his relationship with Lorenzo. Rossi says that The situation between Jorge and him was very different in past. It was bad because he was angry with Yamaha. He did not understand why Yammie would bring in a strong Rider. Now he feels that Yamaha was right. They are great rivals but have a healthy relationship.Owned - Yamaha RX100 -> TVS Fiero F2 -> Yamaha R15 -> KTM RC390
