no not really mate..he always said and keeps on saying that he wants to continue with yamaha and end his motogp career with yamaha.

but in any case surely whenever his contract is up all kinds of teams including repsol would wanna bag him.

now that the seamless is there and working well (something he has demanded from yamaha for a long time), i dont think he'd even want to think about other options outside of yamaha...if however seamless hadn't arrived by say mid-2014, then maybe he'd have thought of leaving..but anyway that's not the case, the seamless is already there and working well.

Jorge seriously want's to finish his carrier with Yamaha, if Yamaha continues to provide him a competitive bike
and reportedly he was also offered more money by repsol than what the yamaha were able to offer him..he declined anyway.

And if he's within 20-30 points of Marquez at the end of year, I think he would be content. It will be Lorenzo, not Yamaha, that lost the 2013 championship for Lorenzo.

well actually it seems he is already alright with the fact that the he wont be winning the title this year and has peacefully accepted it, if you go by his comments and interviews in press conferences in indy, brno and particularly the pre-event press conference in silverstone...he is just playing to try his best to win races, that's all..at least that's what he has said in a the press conferences of the last few races.

stoner said 2-3 weeks ago in an interview that he might consider returning to motogp if they make the bikes more powerful and remove the electronics.

in any case, i am pretty sure he won't return back.

I really wish Jorge takes the championship to the wire in Valencia. (I hoped the same for Rossi ) Just to keep the title undecided till the last race. Eventually I would want Marc to take if it if not Rossi. For me they are very similar, Marc is like Rossi reinvented.

In reality Jorge can't take the championship by being the only one to beat Marc. He needs either Dani or his own team mate Rossi or any xyz rider to beat at least once. That's when Jorge might see the light at the end of the tunnel and actually go for glory.

There are still 5 races to go and Marquez is still going around tracks for the first time on a MotoGP bike. One harmless lowside... 1 DNF and it will all be wide, wide open again

Speaking of the order of preference in which I want riders to take the championship
1. 99 (just for his superhuman grit he showed at Assen and Germany)
2. 93 (because he's the most fun to watch, bar none)
3. anyone else (effectively translates to 46 and 26)

Also, I'm really excited to see MM at Philip Island. Anyone willing to bet if he'd break Stoner's (lap time) records or not?
Bajaj Pulsar 150 : 2004-2005
Honda Dio : 2005-2012
KTM 200 Duke : 2012-

I would love to play that..is there anyway we can start a poll here again for this monk

Checked on Motogp.com Stoner did a 1.28.665 on the Ducati in 2008. That's the best lap around the circuit.
At Japan and Sepang, Jorge is the holder of the fastest Lap in 2012. But Philip island and Stoner are synonymous. It's a special place..

I believe he can really come close to it, cos Stoner himself hasn't been able to break it since 2008 on the Ducati. But since RC213V in the current championship has better braking, i would cast my vote to Marc. He'll break it.

well, there's more to motogp than meets the eye-

i believe that there is some difference in the level of support the factory gives to its lead rider and other rider.

i think it is quite foolish to first retire and then make a comeback.

also i think it is quite foolish again to think that if you are a soccer star, that after retirement if you take up hockey, you will be quite successful in that too, coz you played hockey quite well in college or that a retire cricket batsman will become a golf champion after retirement.

again isn't it foolish that organizers will change the rules just coz you don't like it.

sorry for using the word "foolish" so many times, but isn't that obvious. apologies to his fans, and he was very good, while he was at it, but these turn of events ... not good.

also because i believe in my 1st argument, i strongly believe that rossi will come 2nd atleast once before the end of season.

Use keywords like Stoner, HRC, wild card, Philip Island, 2-stroke, 750, Dorna and electronics in your article with a different date for each publication, you can run this shit for rest of the season. Guaranteed.

MM said that Ped is still the no. 1 rider at HRC. At least, that's what MotoGP chose to run on the headlines. After the camera was turned off, both MM and HRC blink.

Well, the other part of the article said that he is "now looking at the championship"!

Now, we all can guess what Ped might have been instructed - "You know what to do because you have always been there and done it for us. Just don't faack it up."

yeh MMs statement was a bit of a surprise. I mean c'mon, your leading the show and your team mate (rider who's 34 points behind you) is Honda's no. 1 man..?

Oh yes he is number one, number one guy to rely on to get the other riders the championship.

But seriously does HRC or even MM expect us to believe that, the way he's been faking it and playing modest before all the races, before he blasts lap records and beats the crap out of the rivals, he's here to play rookie..? It's too dumb of a statement even for rookie viewers following MotoGP.

I'm sure even the guys at the press release would also be laughing at this

He's just rubbing salt to Pedrosa's injuries

He is the one who has to win the title and I am the rookie. That’s how I started the year and that’s how I will finish - and I have no intention of taking a different role because it’s not my moment. We’ll see what happens next year, but right now my role is to be a rookie
My thoughts : Sure, because the role of a rookie is to get 12 consecutive podium finishes and win 5/13 races, right? Cool story, bro. xD

I bet he'll paste #1 to his bike next year (instead of 93) to rub it in even more.
