yes she is spanish.
anna and maria are both spanish.
in the pre-event press conference, bradl mentioned that there used to be a german female rider in one of the GP classes long time ago..
there have been a few other female riders in GP (like that girl riding the moriwaki moto2 bike earlier, can't recall her name, i think she was also spanish or italian), but none have been competitive unfortunately...however, both ana and maria come from the CEV and so far have been pretty fast, so everyone's hoping these two will finally be the world's first "fast female riders" in the GP classes.
outside of the GP, there have been a bit more female riders...particularly in the AMA classes, there are 2-3 i think...elena myers is one of them who's very cute (and won the daytona 200 earlier with suzuki, rides for triumph now)

about lean angles, marquez hangs off the bike a lot, so naively it looks to a lot of the people that his bike is leaned a lot, but usually it's his body that is so leaned while the bike is not so much leaned and relatively more upright (one of the reasons he hasn't had much problem with the edge grip at the end of the races)...note that i said "usually".
however, casey and jorge are both reputed to have achieved phenomenal lean angles a lot of the times, jorge in particular because he hangs off the bike the least of all riders i guess and is very much stuck to (and in line with) his bike, so when it looks like a deep lean of the bike, it actually is...

Its FP2... more to come
