What many forget that he is a rider who has come up from the lower series where touching and contact are very much a part of racing. The 125cc class and Moto2 are highly competitive and closely fought classes where evenly matched machinery calls for dogfights which are mighty close. The MotoGP class is entirely different thanks to the likes of Stoner, Lorenzo and Dani who ride like purists. Any action of close racing was around only till Rossi was competitive (or on competitive machinery). Correct me if Im wrong, Rossi was not penalized for causing Stoner to crash in the 2011 season (and inviting the famous ambition-talent remark). This is probably the only reason why Lorenzo hated the late Simoncelli.
End of the day, its motorcycle racing..dangerous to the core but addictive like nothing else on the planet. I'm sure people realize that no MotoGP rider in senses would want to commit to any harakiri or a deliberate T-boning of any other rider...days of thunder does not happen on the racetrack.

Braking is not his problem, his aggression is. Since he is too aggressive at times, it affects his braking. He would land in gravel more often if braking was his primary issue.
