  • Wow.

    Thanks for the update Shelton.

Currently Marquez is leading the pack. So he is living to all the hype! Ducatis are still suffering, with only Hayden within 2 seconds! Bradley Smith is ahead of Dovi who he replaced in the Tech 3 squad.

This is going to one hell of a season with Marc and Rossi right up there pushing Lorenzo and Pedrosa. Fantastic stuff. So excited

    • From the stats, it looks like the 3 Spaniards and the Italian are going head to head and it's back to Yamaha v/s Honda!

      • The top four are so close that it seems to be like a preview of the 2013 season. with Stefan Bradl nearby I hope he gets some podiums, but not at the cost of Rossi.

Marquez has already started to prove his point. Does look like he's learning, seems more focused on the title this year :P
Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.

I am only worried that #93 will get too enthusiastic in some races and smash up someone else! Good to see Rossi back where he belongs and that too in the first test.

More egg on the face of Ducati. Hayden more than 2 seconds from Pedrosa. Dovi close to Hayden which is promising. Spies is still suffering from shoulder injury so nothing can be said. Hayden was slower than the test riders of Honda and Yamaha! Iannone was slower than Aleix Esparago and Randy de Puniet on their ARTs. And I thought Ducati was giving factory spec bikes to Pramac!!

Just wish Ducati would be at the sharp end of things as well. What a perfect season that would be then! And maybe wildcards from Stoner at PI and Motegi Did I start dreaming again!

            • Top four stay in the same position. Rain washed out the last hour of testing. But riders did go out on the wet track to try out Bridgestone's wet tyres.

Bradley Smith made good progress today. Hayden and Dovi managed to bring down the gap to 1.5 seconds. Slightly positive news for Ducati. Pramac Ducati with Spies still struggling with injured shoulder. Iannone improved from yesterday. Marquez still shining! And Crutchlow being the best of the rest! Bradl promising an interesting season ahead.

The way Rossi shot out of the corner (in the few first seconds of the video) said it all. And he's wearing a serious and determined look on his face.

What were those lights (Red and Green) on the JLo's left forearm (Part of the race leathers)?

                • Its Game on and it clearly shows the Factory Honda and Yamaha riders are gonna fill the podium next year with Tech 3's Cal and satellite Honda riders in the mix-up but yesterday it was really bad to see the factory Ducati below the Honda and Yamaha test riders but even today they improved it is not looking very competitive....
Marc Marquez is clearly showing his pace looks very dangerous for the title contention in the rookie year and Bradley Smith improved a lot today
From the video we can see Rossi is back look the cornering and speed he is carrying
Interesting to see Yamaha vs Honda battle again...

Rossi finally overtook the young Spaniard. But he still lacks pace for the top spot. It's going to get tough this year. Good for us

Rossi as always concentrates on race setup, not too bothered with one fast lap. He uses old tires a lot to get a feel for a race situation. Today Lorenzo did a race simulation. Pedrosa did testing and did not chase a fast lap. Marquez is pushing to the limit, evident from the fact that he low sided in the last corner. So everybody is holding something back in reserve. Come race day, we will know the truth!

Ducatis still 2 seconds off. Positive is that Dovi is already almost at the same pace as Hayden. Iannone has been slower the Aleix throughout the three days of testing. Ben Spies did not test today as he wanted to give his injured shoulder time to rest. Crutchlow doing a good job along with Bradl.

There are going to be four races fought this season. Between the Factory Hondas and Yamahas, the Satellite Hondas and Yamahas, the four Ducatis and the CRT class.

Exactly! These experienced guys always have something in reserve and they show it only on race day whereas the newbies are on their limits, lose out on race day mid way through the race or else take a spill trying to catch others. This has always been the case at least in their first year in Motogp, typical examples being Lorenzo & Stoner. How is it going to be with Marquez it is yet to be seen.

                        • According to David Emmett's tweets. Lorenzo has got the best race pace, Pedrosa though slightly slower is not certain as he was focusing on testing. Rossi has got a good race pace and is very consistent in his lap timings, while Marquez and Crutchlow are running similar times over multiple laps.
