Re: MotoGP 2013 Season - Updates
From what I gather, they are talking about the setup of the 2010 bike with the current bike. The same setup didn't work, Lorenzo's setup didn't work. So they have now found a setup which does work with the softer new Bridgestones.Originally posted by princesirohi View Postwhy are they tunning an old bike.... didn't get it.Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Re: MotoGP 2013 Season - Updates
Link please? o_OOriginally posted by Boon View PostThe Doctor also explained his relationship with Lorenzo. Rossi says that The situation between Jorge and him was very different in past. It was bad because he was angry with Yamaha. He did not understand why Yammie would bring in a strong Rider. Now he feels that Yamaha was right. They are great rivals but have a healthy relationship.
I would like to read/watch the whole interview. I completely lost my respect for Rossi's character as a racer when he turned into a whiney ***** in 2010. He refused to share his setup details with Lorenzo's side of the garage (rude, but still fair IMO) and demanded Yamaha to either get rid of Lorenzo or give him a preferencial treatement over Lorenzo. When Yamaha refused, that was one of the 2 big reasons he left Yamaha (2nd reason being the italian-ducati connection).Last edited by dishayu; 07-12-2013, 02:38 PM.Bajaj Pulsar 150 : 2004-2005

Iannone's crash was even more spectacular on the Duc. There was nothing remaining of the back, it was just half a bike!!!Originally posted by Makky View Post
According to Mat Oxley, Dovi's crash happened because of right turn after 7 lefts. Cold right side of the tyre.Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Okay, cool.Originally posted by Makky View PostYes, it's an open truth. Everyone knows. No link. It's from twitter.
Speaking of FP1, I'm stunned that Lorenzo managed to top the session. Even leaving aside the fact that he's still not 100% fit, this is a Honda track AND Pedrosa and Marquez both are fond of the circuit, whereas Lorenzo said that he doesn't like this circuit. Rossi is right on the pace. Also, worthy of attention is Espagaro's performance... just half a second off the top on his ART machine.Last edited by dishayu; 07-12-2013, 04:20 PM.Bajaj Pulsar 150 : 2004-2005

Folks, found a few articles here. Help yourself - Matt Roberts wears Smart/Casual.
And then, we have a review of a detuned KTM Moto3 machine from a random bloke - http://www.visordown.com/road-tests-...iew/23024.html.Last edited by Makky; 07-12-2013, 05:58 PM.

Woah...those are some harsh words...but anyways you might have never liked him so much to ignore his bad points.Originally posted by dishayu View PostLink please? o_O

About Lorenzo topping the practice session, if he can come 5th in a race after surgery I don't think I'm surprised if he tops the session. I mean an injury like this only effects your performance in a race long situation. Not in a few laps. Moreover a few days injury doesn't take the talent out of you.
If Jorge was 100% he could have fought for the win, but I doubt that will happen with his current physical state.Last edited by R-series; 07-12-2013, 05:56 PM.Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.

And, I was a Rossi fan once... I was completely behind him for 2002 to 2009-ish. Rooted for him in his battle against Honda Army when he switched to Yamaha. But yeah, I guess you can say I never liked him enough to ignore his (IMO) unsporty conduct. He is (obviously) skilled enough to be able to beat everyone on the track and he shouldn't have resorted to the cheap "me-or-him" tactics. However, he seems to have humbled down and dropped that attitude now, which is good to see.Last edited by dishayu; 07-12-2013, 06:04 PM.Bajaj Pulsar 150 : 2004-2005

Looks like boys at Pramac fixed bike no. 29 which was torn into bits and pieces earlier. And Dovi reverts back to GP13 frame.
