Dovi has followed the same route as Rossi - RCV>M1>Desmo. Smith made a brilliant move when Duc riders had a spat at the last corner.Last edited by Makky; 07-03-2013, 10:16 PM.

Re: MotoGP 2013 Season - Updates
When Dovi signed with Ducati, Cal whined that he deserved a factory bike more although Dovi outscored him in 2012. Well, we don't know who is better. But, now, it was a blessing in disguise. He continued to ride Tech3 Yamaha for 2013 and he becomes the hottest property with the 'top 4' locked for 2014.

Re: MotoGP 2013 Season - Updates
During the race, the video broadcast showed Lorenzo overtaking Cal. For me, it looked as if, 2 bikes moved round the corners in concentric circles. Lorenzo took the inner line and yet found the grip to blast past Cal in a smooth fashion. Looked great.Originally posted by R-series View PostWow Makky your quick....

Also, loved the way Pedrosa allowed a hot headed Marquez to take the inner line only to brake and turn in early and accelerate away leaving Marc to wonder what just happened. Lorenzo 'd have done this to Marc at Jerez but, he never anticipated it.
PS: Rossi's overtakes are always very well planned. He has plan B, C, D... if, A doesn't work.Last edited by Makky; 07-04-2013, 03:55 PM.

Re: MotoGP 2013 Season - Updates
Not sure if you guys observed the Assen helicopter shots, Rossi was brilliant on the brakes, he was gaining a lot of time braking very late and the confidence Rossi had gained on the bike's front end showed clearly. The next races are going to be very interesting, a confident Rossi is always interesting

Re: MotoGP 2013 Season - Updates
If Gresini Honda can assure that Cal 'll receive support fom HRC for the next season, it can get interesting. Looking at the immediate history and weighing common sense over money, he might look away from the Ducati option. Time and again, he has been mentioning Bradl getting the HRC support. Yamaha 'll be at loss if, this is the case and it 'll make Honda stronger.

Re: MotoGP 2013 Season - Updates
After reading the article which Lin Jarvis spoke it seems they will not support Tech 3 with the factory equipment's they are trying to convince Cal with the same equipment. If Honda provides their factory machine through Gresni and hire Cal it would be a interesting competition ... But will the current rule be crushed (running only four prototype each team) so that Honda can bring in the fifth one for Cal ??Originally posted by Makky View PostIf Gresini Honda can assure that Cal of the support fom HRC for the next season, it can get interesting. Re: MotoGP 2013 Season - Updates
Not very likely that they will change the rules again. The 4 bike per manufacturer rule is the reason that Honda is bringing a production racer for next year, Yamaha are leasing their engines and Ducati plans to use their motorcycles in the non-MSMA category.Originally posted by Dinesh.P View PostAfter reading the article which Lin Jarvis spoke it seems they will not support Tech 3 with the factory equipment's they are trying to convince Cal with the same equipment. Re: MotoGP 2013 Season - Updates
If that is the case then Cal has no place in Honda because in Gresni team they have extended the contract of Bautista and also Bradl has a contract ... So it is between Ducati and Yamaha now ... If Yamaha is not getting him what he asks its gonna be a big loss for Yamaha... They are gonna a lose a front running rider and gonna bring a rider who will be fighting for the top 10 placesOriginally posted by The Monk View PostNot very likely that they will change the rules again.
