Fortunately for me, the seamless gearbox has a telltale audio signature. Stand at trackside and listen to the bikes go by, and you can hear the difference, the Honda slipping effortlessly and almost imperceptibly from gear to gear, the Yamaha producing a giant boom, as the quickshifter cuts power, and then pausing audibly.

...really? why would factory riders try to stop a satellite guy..can't they just run away at the front if they wanted too...how stupid can you get in such a high level sport?

I was so scared when Alaro tried to overtake Rossi. I'm sure it would have been difficult for any rider to avoid him when he fell. Since Rossi was in front he should have braked earlier in order to avoid anything wild. But Rossi went wide enough to maintain a safe distance as he might have predicted his fall mentally.

Hey did anyone get a chance to play the motogp 13 game. It was launched on 21st and I just got my hands on it last evening.
It's amazing for gp enthusiasts like us who like getting into the details of the bike and riding style to see improvements in lap times. It's got lots more than what previous games had. TC is still something I'm facing trouble with. Really think I can go faster but need proper settings for TC. Now I know that apart from tyres TC is also a big factor which forces these riders to pickup the bike faster in corner exit.
