Re: MotoGP 2013 Season - Updates
Truth be told, it looks very bleak that Rossi 'll be on the top step of the podium any time. Yes, it breaks my heart!
But, it's clear - I want to support Marquez in the premier class hence forth nevertheless I 'd be happy if, Pedrosa wins the championship this year. He deserves to put his name on the list more than anyone else.
@The Monk - Came to know about the big lad Dunlop after I watched North West 200 (250cc, 2-stroke class) 2008. He loses his dad in an accident during the practice session. On the race day, 2 brothers, Michael and William and their cousin XYZ race and Michael wins. Phenomenal piece of riding!

^^^ Closer to the Edge was what brought me close to IOM. Then a Al Jazeera documentary. It's amazing what those superhumans go through. MotoGP pales in comparison.
From the link I posted above -
spare a thought for TT rider Daniel Cooper, who was running 14th in Sunday’s Superbike race when he dislocated a shoulder while fighting a tank-slapper as he rode through the village of Kirk Michael. He pulled over, popped it back in and carried on to finish 29th.Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Ducati complete their two day test at Mugello with Andrea Dovizioso, Nicky Hayden, Andrea Iannone, Max Biaggi, Michele Pirro. The lone American must have been feeling quite lost with 4 Italian riders for company and an Italian company to ride for -

Re: MotoGP 2013 Season - Updates
maybe because in motogp theres a constructors trophy..the riders may like to sit like this, but there its forbidden to enter the pit of even your team-mate..but maybe,..we wont love seeing them hanging out together.the fans love it as it is.Originally posted by Makky View PostWrong thread but, all I want to know is why can't we have this in MotoGP.IOM TT - They fight against each other and against the clock and when off the bike, this is how they are - Last edited by Thamps; 06-09-2013, 07:36 PM.

@ Makky, Nice Pic
I think it would be good to see the light side of MotoGp.

Re: MotoGP 2013 Season - Updates
Its the wrong place to post it.,but i am watching SBK,portugal round now..really spectacular to see some of the ex motogp riders such as melandri, checa etc slipping and sliding around..its real drama out there.a lot of things happening, cant really explain it here.pole leader starting from pit lane, pulling a lap record out,but still 6 laps behind.really exciting.i just went to the relevant thread, but no activity there.close to dead..i dont know if anyone of you are into SBK,but its really worth watching..i posted this here because i enjoy all the posts and discussion here,so would like the same to go on in SBK thread and lighten it up if possible.its really worth a watch,if at all anyone hasnt watched it till now..and was thinking, why is there not even half of the fan following for SBK as compared to GP here?Last edited by Thamps; 06-09-2013, 10:03 PM.

Makky It's because MotoGP is like a corporate, while IOM is still like an NGO
The other day, there was a power and internet failure in IOM, everything came to a grinding halt. MotoGP is way too professional.
Also in the IOM you are not just defeating an opponent. You are basically living on the edge of death and coming through unscathed. When you are that down to earth, then you automatically gel due to smaller egos. Even the guy who has come last, has risked his life. Almost every year somebody dies. Yet they race.Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Re: MotoGP 2013 Season - Updates
@Thamps, @Braumabull and @The Monk
Probably, a few decades ago, the scene was something similar in the MotoGP but, not right now. Or may be, they do have - Vale and Sic used to go for MX together, Edwards' boot camp in Texas and a couple of more instances - all away from the eyes and the ears of the media. May be, they don't want to report them. They are more happy when one takes a dig at another!
