Not a big Lorenzo fan, but I loved the lap times, so consistent.
But watching Marquez ride, I think it would be correct to say that late braking is so important. Lorenzo, just needs to tweak his riding style a lil bit , cuz I have not seen Lorenzo riding a different line in the race like Marquez does. But good race, after a long time some good overtakes to watch.

I wonder how is Cals riding style, does he rely on braking late or carrying corner speed. Last year for sure both the tech 3 riders had a similar way of riding.....

Couldn't agree more. However, I am afraid that future seasons may get boring as there is no one in the current crop who can challenge Marc. Also, in Moto3 and Moto2 no rider shows promise as Marc did. Marc will only grow stronger from here. He is just 20. Best part is when you see a worthy challenger when the Master is in his prime. Just like Lorenzo and Marc.

Hope I am proved wrong, and we get to see good fights like in Brno in the future seasons as well. Is Stoner coming back next season, hearing a lot of rumors?

Only MM can stop MM. You're right. Marc seems to be one small step above even Jorge and Dani and there's no one in sight that seems to be worthy of putting up a fight. I've been following him since his moto3 days and I recently noticed that I "liked" his facebook page in 2010. I knew he would be insanely fast. I was sure he'll get a few podiums and most likely his first win in the premier class in his debut year. What I was not expecting was that he'd win 1/3rd of all races and finish of podium every single race that he finishes. I wonder what he will have to do next year to not disappoint his fans :P

hahaha! I am late to spot this. Thanks, Monk!

Folks, there's a burning issue in MotoGP. When Spies crashed at Indy - it was a pure rider's mistake and underwent operations on both the shoulders, Ignite Ducati expressed its frustration after staying quiet for long. Here's an article which tells us the inner story - Beyond the Ben Spies Twitter Fiasco.

PS: Before Brno MotoGP, I asked Emmett about this, he chose to be silent. Obvious that no one wants to be dirty in the eyes of the public.

Marc Marquez tops FP1 in Silverstone by a comfortable margin over Lorenzo in #2. And this is a track which he says he does not feel confident on. This should be a good time to take a break from watching MotoGP and check again around 2020. This kid has blown everyone away, me included.

Even I felt the same, there is no way the two (Lorenzo & Pedrosa) are going to catch Marquez and he is going to win the Championship with a race or two to spare if he is going to dominate in this manner. There were times (before the ducati experiment) when the experts used to say the second half is Rossi's favourite tracks and He did dominate them but sadly I don't see him posing any threat to Marquez either. He is surely going to be busy fighting with Bautista and Cruthlow

I hope the first four places is not going to be a constant from now on:
                  1. Marquez
                  2. Lorenzo / Pedrosa
                  3. Pedrosa / Lorenzo
                  4. Rossi
Young riders pick a destination and go, Old riders pick a direction and go !

My heart goes out to Lorenzo. The guy is lapping that M1 3/4th of a second faster than a 9 time world champion. He's getting every last bit of performance out of that bike. Beats Marquez by quarter of second in FP2. Also, Dovi looks in good shape around here. within 2 tenths of Rossi, Cal and Bautista.

Espagaro's crash looked really painful. :S

I can see why Marquez says he doesn't like this track. His unpolished, ham-fisted style does not go well with the bumpy surface.
