I too doubt if he can win. A podium finish looks more likely.

Bautista kind-of cheated. Shadowed MM and posted a hot lap. He accepted that later in the press too.

Yeh it would be "kind off" cheating. But I personally think its ok to take a piggy back ride. Obviously it is always available to everyone. The only difference comes if a slow rider jumps to q2 and leaves a faster rider fighting for back grid positions in q1.
Anyways as i say qualifying and race are 2 separate stories. So if taking a lift gives an advantage of 2-3 positions, that's not much of a difference throughout race distance. But again considering all the factors it can easily effect the race result and championship standings.

I read that section on the motogp website too, but couldn't watch the video-it wasn't free😝. While watching the 125QP they did show a rabbit or a hare it was, running across the track couple of times. I had the TV on mute since my niece was sleeping in the same room, so I missed the commentary as well. Don't know what change in broadcasting that might have caused.😄

Great for Bautista... Nuke at the front row... ... Guys around him have to keep an eye on him... I guess Marq did not look happy about Bautista slipstreaming Marq and beat Marq's lap time... Anyways... Race will be totally different from qualifying. Again Rossi back in third row... Lorenzo complaining about the tyres... Why other tyre manufacturer's are not being encouraged by motogp to
participate in the events? Riders are not 100% happy with the Bridgestone and right now riders can not do anything about it. Damn.

It will be a problem if the weather is cold, for the Yamahas. They were working good with harder tyre, soft, not so much.

Amazing start by Lorenzo. Cal and Bautista screwed their best lap time. Rossi currently fourth behind the top pack i.e. 1. Lorenzo, 2.Marq, 3.Dani.

What a race... Lorenzo gave an amazing fight to the Hondas, eventually lost the fight to them. Rossi's last corner overtake to Bautista was good too... Marq is here not to play, but to kill. Good race.

massive race among the top 3...one of the best races and some of the best overtakes by lorenzo, but today it was clearer again the repsol honda, that too 2 of them, is a bit too much for a weaker yamaha (with no seamless either) to defend with all through the race when the riders riding them are so close to each other that the subtle bike differences matter a good deal. and it seemed like indy again with 2-3 laps to go lorenzo's tires seemingly went off while honda were relatively unaffected..whatever, although i am disappointed lorenzo didnt win despite one of the best efforts ever but i think as a supporter of 99 for the title, the mind has been pretty much oriented towards not seeing the title this year (as lorenzo himself said in the pre-event conf. that it doesn't seem like any yamaha riders are favorites for any races anymore), so i am otherwise quite positive on account of a massive race between 99 and 93..seriously i was shaking at some of those passes between these two dudes..shame that it couldn't go to the end what with lorenzo's bike seemingly off again in the last 2-3 laps (unless he intentionally slowed down or got too tired or something)..

99 and 93 on same bikes would be some shit to watch.

still in awe of lorenzo's outside and then inside pass on marquez on that S section 7 laps to go..and then his last corner pass 6 laps to go..great race between the 3 of them, but particularly between lorenzo and marquez.

rossi continues battling the satellite yamahas and hondas :P

Rossi and Jorge are now getting frustrated since honda has not only faster bike, they have improved in braking as well. This was Yamaha's strong point but not anymore.
So I think, counting the seamless gearshift thats 3 areas. Acceleration, gearshift and now braking😛
