@ motomatters -The gearbox isn't sealed (the engine isdesigned so they can take the gearbox out without breaking the seals). BUT, we don't know whether the seamless gearbox fits into the existing cases, or they need a whole new engine.

With every passing race MM is proving out to be more and more difficult to beat. Already 26 points ahead of Lorenzo, I for one feel he's going to steel the championship away this year.Contribute to the environment.Comment

When the rider BLIPS THE THROTTLE, the bike knows that he's gonna DOWNSHIFT! Didn't know that.

^^ nice one, I saw this earlier on youtube a day or 2 ago.
But thanks for posting. Theres one more thing that's common in race bikes, not only MotoGP. The direction of increasing an decreasing gears. It's the opposite of road bikes.
The reason is downshift on the gear paddle is easier in a corner compared to up shift. And in racing if you mess up the gear selection, it's always safe of increase one gear and avoid a nasty situation. So the downshift is made to increase gear rather than decrease it.Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.Comment

Yeeeaah, well... I don't think Lorenzo/Pedrosa have much of a shot at this years championship now. Marquez is DESTROYING everyone in terms of outright speed. He seems to have found a level even beyond that of a motoGP "aliens" on this circuit.
