    AMBROGIO RACING TAKES TO MAHINDRA FROM MISANO
    Silverstone, UK, September 01, 2013:

    3 class, narrowly missing the podium in a number of races.

    Mahindra, the only Indian constructor in grand prix motorcycle racing, is continuing its development of the MGP3O during the remainder of the 2013 season.
    Moto3 regulations dictate that manufacturers must be prepared to supply up to 15 riders in the class, and Mahindra Racing has geared up for further production in time for the 2014 season.

      If Lorenzo could out race MM and Dani on his Yamaha without the seamless gearbox, I think with the seamless gearbox, he would be too difficult to beat. Whats Rossi trying to prove by finishing 4th every time?

        Not so true with the seamless gearshift. The honda does not only have a gearbox advantage over the yamaha. There are few other things. The riders are only pushing for it as it is the main disadvantage. But the M1 lacks in acceleration and braking as well. So the riders are actually pushing for a little of everything.
        But as I stated earlier, both MM and JL being 100% will show is the actual picture.
        For Rossi, he's just trying his best to finish at the highest possible position. I don't think you expect him to stop racing if he can't win, or do you?

          So, JL is racing with the hardware thats inferior to the Honda's. Thats something which everyone is aware. Hence, I feel with a better hardware he can be a tough opponent.

          I am eagerly waiting for the day when seamless gearbox makes debut in the GP. Any ideas if this is going to happen this season?

          Rossi is a legend which you come across very rarely. No other rider commands the kind of fan following as Rossi. Hence, I do expect him to win, yes, that may be too much.

            Seamless will not do the job instantly, but yes it would be a step forward offcourse. Acceleration lacks. Y'day when Rossia and Bautista we close, dunno which corner, but it was the slowest corner. Bautista accelerated out so quickly, it took while for Rossi to reach to him again. (Also they were on different lines of the race track, there can be many other factors too).

            I think Yamaha have one of the best shifters available, so the seamless would be more like phase 1, aint it??

            Rossi got a great start, at the start his lap times were atleast a sec down on several laps, then he was lapping like the top 2 guys (Dani was even quicker then them both). But the gap increased out of reach.

            Something got into Alvaro. Good riding (till now)

              Well Jorge having all that talent certainly can't stop a guy with similar talent and superior machinery. Jorge is doing more than he can to stay in front. Now till yamaha doesn't act and does their part he certainly won't pose a threat to the title this year.
              No idea on the gearbox yet. Even the riders don't have a hint.
              You are considering what Rossi is capable of, but you asked what he's trying to prove. Right now he can try to win, but these are athletes. They don't stop racing or trying even if they don't win. Like India doesn't win every match, should they stop playing cricket? Similarly no ones trying to prove anything with racing, they like it and want to win. As for now Rossi can only manage 4th. I'm sure he will get another podium or maybe a win as well this season, but surely won't be a piece of cake with the know spaniards in front.😝

                About Bautista if guys are not aware he changed the suspensions to Showa at leguna, which gives better feel and response.
                Since then he's been able to perform better. Even Bradle has changed the brake systems to Brembo at leguna since when he's up there in the 2nd group of Rossi and cal.

                    My Bad wrong info, He was using Showa from the beginning, I'm just cross checking where I actually read about the technical changes.
                    Bradle's changes are confirmed for sure.

                    Took this from one of the comments at Motomatters:

                    At the moment the points Marquez received mean very little.
                    But if he receives more points in future then the following could happen:
                    1. Reach a total of 4 and you start the next race from the back of the grid;
                    2. Reach a total of 7 and you start the next race from the pit lane;
                    3. Reach a total of 10 and you get a 1 race ban.

                    Points only get reset to zero after reaching 10 and/or at the end of the season (i.e. no carry-over to the next year)

                    These in no way affect championship points.

                        Oh my god. The rider was looking behind, didn't even notice the guys in front. He would have surely crashed in to one or the other if he missed this guy. was that Pol espargaro on the Blue/white bike in front. I don't think he even noticed what happened there

                          EDIT - Torres did a good job of checking the fallen rider(s) than worrying about his bike.

                            The nuke, Alvaro Bautista did a great job.
                            Rossi is a amazing, great, outstanding rider. Rossi don't have to prove anything to anyone. He is a class no current rider can match.(I am a Rossi fan :P ). He just needs the right weapon to fight with the leading Hondas. Sure, Yamaha would be doing something on that. Once he gets the correct weapon than the current weapon, He will be back. I think most of us still want Rossi to win than current point leaders/winners.
                            Lorenzo did an amazing ride and gave an amazing fight to Marquez.
                            Marq is a great talent. He proved it again and again.
                            Feeling sad for Dani, all in this wars...he is the one, loosing the championship which would be in his hands.

                                This is the only year for Jorge and Pedrosa to try winning the championship, from next year onwards they can only dream. I am sure Yamaha is already worried abt this kid.
                                We cannot say that ... when Rossi was winning a string of titles Nicky Hayden and Stoner got their own titles in 2006 and 2007.... When Yamaha gives a better bike to Lorenzo then it will be a dog fight between Lorenzo,Marc, Dani and Rossi ... Lorenzo is giving 150% and extracting every bit from that M1 so when there is a better machinery he will definitely give Marc a tough fight..
