I think Lorenzo found something new in his setup for an extra couple of tenths. This build-up to this race is getting a bit random and very interesting now.

Re: MotoGP 2013 Season - Updates
Guys the warmup is used by the teams for different objectives. Some do it to verify the settings, some do it for improvement, some just so it for dominance and psychological effect on rivals.
Morning warm up temperature is usually cold and no one pushes the bike it it's max.Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.

Terrible crash for Folger, highside.
Gavin Emmett, just mentioning there's only one Italian winner across all classes, and just one victory Hehe

Nice Moto3 battle.
Good ride by Salom, fending off Zulfaami, Antonell and Olivera to take 4thLast edited by Braumabull; 09-15-2013, 04:19 PM.Ernest Hemingway

The Nuke(Alvaro Bautista) said "he will try to gain maximum number of positions, without taking any risks"... Hope he sticks to his wordsOriginally posted by Braumabull View PostNow one more factor can effect(one of the many u know

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD!! Lorenzo!!
----consecutive posts auto-merged-----
Lorenzo practically won the race in the first 4 laps. Pulled out a 3 second lead. Fantastic battle between Pedrosa and Marquez in the second half. Rossi continues the series of 4th places some 15 seconds behind JL99.Bajaj Pulsar 150 : 2004-2005

Re: MotoGP 2013 Season - Updates
Lorenzo's strategy is clear - take that first corner and just butter and hammer! Great race pace. Just when the race got boring, the Repsol Honda boys battle it out. Good one!
Although Esp screwed up Rossi's start, Rossi had nothing to offer as the race progressed. Quite a pity! Lose the 6 in 46.
Now, unless Pedrosa and Rossi do some harm to MM which is unlikely, Lorenzo won't lift the championship even if, he wins all the 5 races.
MM might cruise for a MotoGP championship in his very first year. He's a shark, as someone mentioned a few weeks ago.Last edited by Makky; 09-15-2013, 07:24 PM.

Re: MotoGP 2013 Season - Updates
Now things are coming to terms. Rossi got the seamless, he admitted the bike was perfectly setup with loads of grip. Still he cannot manage to come anywhere close to the 3.
Is that his best? Any thing left to expect out of him?

seamless transmission seems to have made the smooth smooth consistent lorenzo even smoother and more untouchable apparently..rossi lol is still slow and useless, despite having had the seamless and the race pace in the FPs..so much for him qualifying in the front row. really starting to lose hope on him..i was rooting for him to come 2nd and dani 3rd, putting marquez in 4th and opening up the championship more. it even looked to be the case for a few laps but that wasn't to be so eventually.

yeah lolOriginally posted by Braumabull View PostOK, Following Marquez wasnt the strategy.

seamless is supposed to be helping everyone's style actually..puts less stress on the tyres, better stability and precision under acceleration and shifting while being leaned..everyone benefits from that.Originally posted by Braumabull View PostI did say, seamless helps Lorenzo riding style....
remember dani and stoner were not in the race last time. but yes 2nd is a 2nd anyway. more importantly, last year on the desmo he was about 5 seconds from the winner (lorenzo), this yr on the same bike with a new good seamless he ended up about 15 secs. from the winner. yes i know i know there were more variables (primarily, having to tackle marquez and dani this time as opposed to just bautista last time) this time than last year, but still, the end result is worse. :\Originally posted by Braumabull View PostHe was 2nd on a Ducati.

Lorenzo had something other than that special gearbox. Mat Oxley says, fork adjustment in the morning. For MotoGP's sake, get the set up right from next time on, yellow man!
On Sat, there are 3 categories - Marquez, Factory and CRT. But, on Sunday, it's the Spaniards, the rest and the CRT.

Re: MotoGP 2013 Season - Updates
With the Spaniards standing on the podium the crowd was shouting "vale vale...". Quite silly really. Rossi's reign is over, how long is it going to take the people/fanboys to realize it and move on. :-P
Feel sorry for Dani, he was desperate for second, tried everything but ultimately he was no match for MM. He was unable to hide his dissapointment in the post-race Press conference.
Lorenzo is now the only man who can challenge MM but its too late to win the war...
