Re: MotoGP 2014 Season - Updates
Some thoughts so far :
- Marquez making everyone's (specially the newbies) laptimes look bad.
- Pol Espargaro already faster than Aleix Espargaro (although, of course on superior machinery). That must burn.
- Hayden didn't go fast at all. Anyone knows what's up with that? I'm just checking the live timing from the office, so don't have a clue.Bajaj Pulsar 150 : 2004-2005

Re: MotoGP 2014 Season - Updates
yes mate i had read those articles, hence why i find it weird...he couldnt have made a decision to hire silvano just in 3 days..yamaha sure gave him a few choices but as a rider to actually talk to them about it and think about and more importantly the official hiring etc takes longer than just a 3-4 days or even a week, or so one would think...mat oxley wrote a tweet few days ago saying rossi told on thursday he was in no hurry to appoint a new crew chief so soon, yet by monday it had been done...Originally posted by R-series View PostCheck this out - what Rossi said when he first told the press about the split
"Yamaha had asked me some time ago, but I decided recently."

Yep, Silvano's sudden entry was as surprising as JB's sudden exit.Originally posted by aditya_YZF-R15 View Post..mat oxley wrote a tweet few days ago saying rossi told on thursday he was in no hurry to appoint a new crew chief so soon, yet by monday it had been done...
Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.

Hayden gaining some speed now.
1.926 behind Marc and in between the Ducati's. I really wish Hayden finishes ahead of the Ducati's by end of 3rd day

Hayden bang in the middle of both Ducatis. 2 hundredths of a second either side.
Edit : Didn't improve on the time. Practically the same time as Aoyama yesterday (0.003 second slower than him, to be accurate).Last edited by dishayu; 11-12-2013, 11:52 PM.Bajaj Pulsar 150 : 2004-2005

yeah lol :POriginally posted by dishayu View PostNot only was it done by Monday, the dude was already there on Monday setting up the bike for practice :P
everything happened too soon and with very precise timing, thus making it a suspicious affair...it seems rossi and silvano officially signed up with each other much before rossi actually chucked JB on thursday.

Re: MotoGP 2014 Season - Updates
Bautista's running new set of suspension and brakes. That's why he's so fast during testing..
More news:
Yamaha Factory Racing wrapped up their final day of on-track work for 2013 today in the second of the three days of official testing at Valencia. Riders Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi will not continue to ride tomorrow having completed the testing …
Cal is impressed by the Ducati brakes and gearbox. Says it's better than the M1. But since he fell at turn 8 says I felt very safe on the M1
And...Repsol Honda is actually testing the standard ECU from Dorna. If they can make the RCV213 run faster than the M1 with a standard ECU Yamaha can consider it "game over" and think about developing a better bike for 2015.
Yamaha's plan to improve braking : an air scoop (to keep the brakes cool)

Honda says: They might help Ductai if they ask for it.
"Nakamoto was also pinched on helping Ducati to regain lost competitiveness, as happened in the past with Ferrari, or as he had done with Yamaha Cagiva. "To have a great ow Technical Director, I do not think they need it. But if they ask, we may also offer you our help , "the words of the boss HRC"

I hope they don't and I am sure they won't. They can sort out the bike if they think with an open mind.Last edited by bprags; 11-13-2013, 10:06 PM.
