Re: MotoGP 2017 season discussion thread
great race and great ride by dovi...italian rider winning in italy riding *the* italian bike...and in totally dry weather and not helped by anyone crashing in front of him or anything of that sort...great ride despite the diarrhoe
great ride by petrucci too...he was a surprise for sure...
not sure what went wrong with the hondas and lorenzo today...jlo looked so strong early on and then started going back...

Re: MotoGP 2017 season discussion thread
The reports from Dylan Gray suggests Michelin tyre is expected to produce a massive drop off of nearly 4s in the final laps. If we go by that grid position doesn't matter for the race. Dani, pole position, tyre drop off, suggest, it will be dani today

Awsome ride by the factory Ducatis.
I didnt understand why Rossi went with medium Front and Rear.
His FPs were with Hard front. Seems like last minute setting change.Ernest Hemingway

Fantastic win for Dovi .Championship starting to get interesting .Very strange to see the satellite yamaha's handling the tyre better than the factory team . Moto 2 - Comprehensive win for Alex Marquez ,Morbidelli fading away ,good for the championship .Moto 3 - Great riding by Mir to pull of a last lap move and win.Yamaha RX 135 5 Speed - 2000 -(current)
Yamaha R15 v1 - 2009 - 2016 ( Sold )
Yamaha R3 - 2015 - (current)

Re: MotoGP 2017 season discussion thread
another great ride by dovi...he is now properly a title contender, and i hope he gets it..last time anyone won two consecutive races in a ducati was stoner, probably in 2009...both wins in the dry too, and not helped by anyone in front crashing out.
pretty great first and last few laps by jlo too...lovely to see him entering corners sideways the last two or three races...i think midrace he lost some focus triggered by marc's overtake in that first gear corner and ended up losing a bunch of positions in just one lap...
another terrible day for factory yamahas...tech 3 yamahas are more consistent than the factory so far this year..

Re: MotoGP 2017 season discussion thread
Jonas Folger the only rider to have finished every race this year. And in the points as well. Good show of maturity from the rookie. Compare and contrast to the many other experienced riders who have chucked it down the road!
Looks like Suzuki might be saying goodbye to Iannone soon. Rumours about that he is to get the marching orders.
Lorenzo made some wild moves in the closing laps on Zarco, Folger, Petrucci. He tried to pass two riders in the first corner. Can't imagine him ever riding like that on the Yamaha. That silky smooth riding style is not visible anymore.
Hope he and Ducati manage to workout their problems.
What a topsy turvy championship. If you aren't a fan of any rider in particular, then this is another fantastic season.Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!
