The SZ has 12bhp 150cc engine it will cost 55,000Rs on road easily where as Gladi has 125cc 11bhp engine and cost 53,000Rs OnR,now this is known as mind game from companies like Bajaj and Yamaha, giving 150cc engine bike in price of 125cc engine bike with hardly any change in engine power.

12.1 PS. What has yamaha done, I am not sure if the commuter is bothered about it.

What is wrong with 12.1 PS of power?

I think the claimed mileage figure will be over 60km/ltr!!

If it delivers 50-55km/ltr in real world conditions then Yamaha has hit the sweet spot.

the ybr125 is looking irresistible & macho. I can bet that if this bike is launched with a price tag of less 55k then its gonna change the face of yamaha & create a very good no.s

are you talking about glaiator graffiti?? The price of the other gladiator variants is more than what you mentioned. In bangalore it is more than 57k.

whoah what a mileage & that too from a yamaha. If even this cant improve the position of yamaha in india then i would say bad luck yamaha.

i dont think so. First let it cope from its problem with its partner i.e. honda.

From all the info it is clear that the yamaha is trying too aggressively to capture the indian market & reclaim its throne back. The disco 150 is in a big problem now. But after this the bajaj will strike back very hard.

The bike looks superb. Will find many takers and the pricing is spot-on.

I think the tank is a straight lift-off from the FZ!!
