  • hmm

seems like the weird and skinny son of a Triumph Street Triple and Ducati Monster that copulated in France!

Hey come on guys, what about the power-to-weight ratio? 160bhp/tonne is still v.good and it is an Indian product (and not a Korean JV as we all expected). We can always work up a nice semi fairing and a round head light [i m disappointed by the 35w halogens though - expected nothing less than 60/55].

My money is still safe and awaiting a Honda (make that CB300R please...!!).

            • Strange engine this!

The specs seem good on paper. 4-valve with DOHC, twin 35W lamps, inverted forks up front, monoshock rear, 320mm front disc, radial tyres....

But some strange things happening here too. The strangest is engine making peak power at redline! if the pictures are anything to go by.

The web-site also seems to have been put together in a great hurry. Pics and text don't go together. Rear suspension shown while text describes inverted front forks. Gas charged rear monoshock has headlamps in the pic. Radial Caliper 'breaking' tech has the instrument console.

This should truly be a case of 'Ride it to believe it'. Anything can be made to look good on paper...or on the net. Lets hope the product is really good.

              • looks differently need to get used to this one. I must appreciate mahindra for extending the segment to 300cc , very daring move with the first bike launch. For me the specs are enough , needs to test ride it for the FEEL .

                ALL THE BEST MAHINDRA .
on 4 wheels u feel the speed after a crash, 2 wheelers are much more advanced

A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.

Always be ready (get geared) to fall and then think of sitting on the motorcycle.

same sentiments, and i think M&M should come up with a visual presentation of their design brief for why the final product "looks" like what we are seeing. There has to be a reason for not giving this bike a beefy tank that would make it closer to perfection in terms of design atleast. But overall as a first impression, its not a wow bike, though the effort by manufacturer is.

                          • Hmm. So Mahindra remains consistent to their strategy of making weird looking vehicles and advertising weirder. I mean the Xylo was supposed to be the End Of Sedans. And now this!

Anyway, the specs look good but I won't buy it.

However, congratulations to Mahindra for daring to cross that 250 cc albeit with a single cylinder.
This will definitely put the proverbial cat amongst the pigeons. We can rest assured that the competitors won't sit quite and watch the show!

Love the individual bits and pics of the bike(pretty much as shown in the teaser) like inverted shocks, speedometer (Whats with the rev needle... does it do one complete rev ???),twin pod,LED mounted mirrors, huge brakes and satisfied with the performance figures on paper too... but as a design all put together looks something went terribly wrong with the perspective (pics look as if taken from an angle from which the bike looks bad or is it the best they could get )- XBHP first impression should help us on this one

Its like those Slide puzzles where in you slide square pcs along to arrive at one complete picture...all the features on the bike are those jumbled up squares which look good as individual squares but when the puzzle is solved its on everybody's face

Lets wait and watch the motorcycle on road
Abt the other motorcycle - What other motorcycle ?????

                              • Mojo..!!

I mean ok.. specs do matter and so does handling.

But styling..?? I mean the Mojo must be the most uniquely styled bike in the world..!! Can't exactly find a category for this bike to fit in.

Obviously not designed by the Italians.
