A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

my bad mate....confused the power figure with torque..., still if it is priced above 1.3-1.4....not worth going for it...

Mojo would simply accelerate faster to a true 140kmph,P220 wont even come close to it.So its not a mere 10-15kmph difference, its a 300cc that's all.

            And at 11:1 compression ratio,this bike maybe a free-revving one too !!!!
It is a lot faster if you compare R15 or P220 to it.

This would be more fair with the likes of Honda CB300,Bajaj Pulsar 250-300 in the market.

Its slower than the Ninja.Ninja is a Inline Parallel twin Engined bike,Mojo is a Single cylinder.

Pricing is all Mojo requires to strike the right cord...........I keep harping it.

i think 220s true top end is more than 135 ..yes i agree that it will be a lot quicker than the rest albeit the ninja...anyways keeping fingers crossed for a 250 pulsar as said they would release by diwali...

              A stock P220F,it feels so,but its not..........however we shouldn't discuss it(P220F) here.
People will kill me,but R15 attains true 130kmph stock conditions.

The speedo provides optimism, until checked by GPS or by Vbox data-logging.

                • Mahindra Mojo

Come on guys, give Mahindra a break!!!

If I am not mistaken, the website is not officially launched. Its leaked.

Spelling mistakes & picture/text placements could be taken seriously if the website was officially up.

The bike looks good & the specs seem decent too. Hope its priced between the Ninja & R15.

Great work Mahindra. I reserve my comments until a test ride.

                  • For the disappointed guys by a disappointed guy:

Mahindra will launch a 450 cc single with 4 pipes called JIJO next month...
the 125 cc bike have less than 8ps...... (are they using the same scooter engine) The console of stallio looks like pucked from a rodeo...

Mahindra may stop production of flyte and kine since their names are not ending with "O"... or rename like: kido, budo

There were many such bikes cursed for looks just looking at the pictures...!

Come on guys...WE cribbed for a INDIAN manufacturer to come up with a bike for us...and once we find a bike near to those expectations....we thrash it out up and down with some really funny comments..just looking at the pics!

I would preserve my comments until I see the bike in flesh!
And my applause to Mahindra for daring something where many so called Indian and Japanese manufacturers were hesitant.

As said already, you expect too much and when you don't get it...you throw rotten tomatoes at the maker! well we have got lots of critics here doing the job!

Bike looks great on paper and does aptly suit for many tourers here! and occasional tourers like me. Only thing to check here is The service back up by Mahindra!

                        Good job, Mahindra!

There are styling disasters like the Fiero, Glamour, CBZ Xtreme but people still buy it. Don't they? Good for them.

But there are also few for whom a bike's proportion, stance, expression means as much as its engine performance and handling.
For them a bike also has to be a work of art..!!

Example: a Ducati or even our Pulsar 200/220S or the FZ-16/S.

What I see here is that Mahindra could have done much much more.. anyway will be checking out the bike in flesh tomorrow. But even then I don't think the proportions would change much.

according to Vbox and Gps tested data, the true top end of 220 is somewhere around 141 or 144kmph it seems where on speedo it showed 153kmph...i myself got a 138 on gps...anyways letz ditch this topic here

will the bike be displayed in showrooms tomorrow? i just found out that hyderabad as 4 outlets...will call each of them and find out tomorrow...strange as it may seem i am beginning to like the looks of it...a fatter tank would been a killer

                          • sometime ago I said that the Mojo looks like a cross between a Triumph Speed Triple (Front) and a Ducati Monster (Rear). However...now I feel that a Duc - Hypermotard influence is present in the overall height and geometry of the front-forks.

It looks closest to those Voxan French bikes - the neo retro ones.

whatever.... let us wait for a first sight and first ride report.
